he reached this milestone for us yesterday and marked with his 20th league goal as well, a 1 in 5 ratio not bad for a midfielder that's played a mainly defensive role for the past couple of season, best thing is he's still only 21 so could make hundreds more for us in the years to come

Well done to him. I was always skeptical of him from as soon as he started being a fixture in the team, but he's well and truly proved me wrong over the last 2 seasons. Key figure in the team now, especially as all of our other midfielders struggle to score (or even threaten to score).

I've been one of his biggest critics (as no doubt Thracian will point out) but he's been consistently good for 2 seasons and has started his season where he left off at Cardiff. He is our biggest (and only) threat from midfield and has stamped his name on the teamsheet. 20 goals for a midfielder by the age of 21 is a remarkable achievement. Well done King.

Ok lets put Palace aside, King was as ever dependable popping up and digging us out of a whole. overall the performance wasn't brilliant, but the second half was one way traffic! however i think we are big enough to put Palace behind us, sort out the errors and move on. King is very important to us this year! he reminds me allot of Ozil, the reason i say this is because Ozil's movement off the ball is so dangerous, him, Schweinsteiger, and Khedira work together to create space, expose the back four so one man is drawn out, allowing someone to breach the line (Podolski's goal V England). Moreno seems to be the man to come in and hold a Defensive role, this would free King up and allow him to play more freely with more well timed runs to be in the right place at the right time, and creating space for the likes of Fryatt or D.J, Or alternately play one forward and allow some one like Gally to exploit the gaps. As were not gifted with lots of players who can beat 4 men and provide a killer pass, we need to use movement to cut through other teams defence, with players like Dyer pace is not a worry! In the second half is sounded like our movement was allot better. Im sure Sousa will get it sorted before the next game! i can't imagine Powell letting Hobbs or Morrison off for their uncharacteristic performances in the first half! So lets remain positive for the next few games I am sure we will click and start progressing.

Any one off to the Macclesfield game?
