the new guy Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 watching all of these goals on you tube reminds me of when we sighed yann kermogant and that did'nt end to well
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Now my geography is not great, but I beleive Thailand and Japan are not that far away from each other. Could this be something orchastrated by the new owners investors, sorry?
Shrenchel Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Did you look that up? Distance from Bangkok to Tokyo is 4603 kilometers or 2861 miles or 2486 nautical miles source Distance from London to Dakar is 4373 kilometers or 2718 miles or 2361 nautical miles source Nah, I know the distance between every capital city in the world off by heart. That's how I've slept with over 10 women.
The Doctor Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 would this lad be allowed to sign or would it be the same as what happened with keita?
FrankieADZ Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 this cos be a good signing could make us "Big Japan"
unreachable Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 would this lad be allowed to sign or would it be the same as what happened with keita? Very relevant point http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/RulesandRegulations/FARegulations/NewsAndFeatures/2009/work_permits_players.aspx He's got 49 caps but haven't found a website showing when he earned them. Japan are within the top 70 FIFA World ranking nations.
Sirloin Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 I watch a lot of Japanese matches, mostly Yokohama F-Marinos, but I've seen Urawa a few times this season. Abe is a decent player, not sure if he would be physically strong enough for this us, but he's a tidy little player from what I remember.
LCFC_15 Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 I would prefer Yasuhito Endō. He plays for Gamba Osaka at the moment. He has bags of experience and would be a good signing for us as he's good at both defending and attacking.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 The Japanese seem to be really good at free kicks.
C-man Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Interesting. I was impressed with him during the WC.
davbison Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 If it's true, it looks as though Sousa is building a collection of holding midfielders. 4-2-3-1 does seem to be the way forward but with Wellens, Oakley and Moreno able to play there, do we really need to shell out £2m on this guy?
Leicester_Loyal Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Are we spending 2 mill on him though? Aren't we getting him on a free?
Bugg Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 rather spend 2 mil on someone who we know!!! FFS Yeah! If we've heard of a player it OBVIOUSLY means they are better than an unknown player.
dpjfox Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Just seen Abe on utube clips (i know they all look good on there!) this guy can definately hit corners/free kicks!
Callabinho Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Moreno would look after him! where would he play?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Tulio Tanaka! Yes please. I'd rather we signed Tia Tanaka to be honest
Aumski Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 we'd probs play a 4-5-1 2 dmc's 1 mid 2 att wingers, 1 striker.
Sirloin Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 I'd rather we signed Tia Tanaka to be honest My flatmate used to live with her. Really.
Callabinho Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 I'd rather we signed Tia Tanaka to be honest Haha
Callabinho Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 We should sign Jimmy "Superfly Snuka", with all these corners we are having he would bang in no end of headers.
