Edmund Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 And this, my friends, is why Paulo Sousa has to go. All the passing in the world will not win you games at this level.
Babylon Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Ridiculous. Grab your coat Sousa. Yeah great idea.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Come on Leicester. We can still do this!!
Madrid_Fox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Swansea last year? Worst goalscoring record in the league? Highest finish for Swansea in the league for 27 years.
Edmund Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 The goal came from a 20 passing move and they lost possession. Coventry have three passes and score. Bring back boring boring Leicester. Ridiculous.
Dylan Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Wow. Absolute dominance, all the possession, few very good chances, yet they have one attack in the half and score. Typical. They'll have a bit more confidence 2nd half, so going to be harder. And no point having 20 passes before the move, if we're just doing it in our our first 2/3 of the pitch. Need to do it in the final third to split them open. Really need to get something out of this, especially with Qpr and Cardiff next. Come on City!
EnglishOxide Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Stop calling for Sousa's head. Particularly during the match ffs. Playing well with no luck and suddenly the manager needs to be go. If you are performing well results usually come. They only don't if the opponent players a bllinder or you are shit out of luck. Be patient. What would your course of action be? Get Howard on and start lumping it? Not always effective and a good defence will eat it all up.
FrankieADZ Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 annoys me that we do all this passing game sometimes, when the right option is to just have a go..............instead of trying to walk the ball into the net. getting a bit annoyed when Wellens gives the ball away sometimes, as he expects to much time on the ball at times, he did the same against Reading at home aswell. <_< hopw Abe plays on Tuesday tbh:P
sbfox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Edmund and ttfn get 'disabled of the half' award for asking for Sousa's head.... How on earth this is Sousa's fault is beyond me. We've had possession, attempts on target, excellent play and should be at least one or two up, had it not been for Golden Boy Fryatt managing to miss. Sousa's style has brought us all these chances - pass and move around the middle before the quick balls down the channel. It can't be his fault if our strikers can't finish relatively straightforward chances. Anyone calling for a sacking is a fooking idiot on our excellent performance so far.
Zingari Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 the GMK comedy squad will be popping in soon let's act like we ain't bothered
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 We're playing well apart from in the last third. Fed up of f**king refs who give us nothing. Apart from Reading away last year, really can't remember the last time we played abysmal and won.
Petchy Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Yeah great idea. If you can't see the impending descent of sh*t creek before us, then fine, keep him. >_>

There's almost nothing I hate more than football snobs who insist on watching pretty, passing football. It's no better or worse than any other style.

Little Nicky Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Ridiculous. Grab your coat Sousa. Is it cold then? Surely he should be warm enough with his fluffy waistcote on!?

By all accounts we've had about 2 chances and we're basing this on what we've heard on the radio. All I know is we're 1-0 down.
Father Ted Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Highest finish for Swansea in the league for 27 years. Yes, because they had a solid defence but when you have useless twats like Moreno in defence, you should be prepared to lose at home to Reading and away at Burnley. Our defence was solid last year with it being: Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Sousa completed messed it up. And went with Lamey/Neilson and Moreno. Why try and fix something that isn't broken?
Fosse Boy Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Everton are winning. And Hamilton Accies are 1-1 against Rangers. All over 'em at the moment.
sdb Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 1. stop arguing with each other. It's embarrassing. 2. stop calling for a manager to be sacked when we've dominated a game and are only half way through it. It's also embarrassing.

But Leicester have been the better side with their style. More chances, etc

Well that defence was broken because Wayne Brown left, and we're still trying to find another suitable partner for Hobbs.

Guest BlueBrett Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 1-3 you'll see. KIng Dyer and Waghorn.
