Narborough_fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I'm thinking who would take charge IF Sousa left and his backroom staff also left, Chrissy P?
fatboytim Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I am another convert to the Sousa OUT after tonight's game. I accept getting a decent manger in might be difficult, but what's the worst that could happen? Relegation. And if we don't get rid we're going there anyway, so I think it's better to try and change it whilst we still got time rather than just keep going on and losing wekk after week.
LCFC_15 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Get the legend Martin O'Neill back to LCFC as he is THE SPECIAL ONE. This has been a shocker. 8 Games played only 5 points with -11 goal difference. This ain't Leicester. It has to change before next Tuesday! This is a club with great potential. He has think about bringing quality experience players from the premier league on loan old or young to structure his team. Players such as Corry Evans, Magnus Eikrem, Bebe from Manchester United, Craig Eastmond, Henri Lansbury from Arsenal, Seamus Coleman from Everton, Jordan Spence from West Ham United, Matthew Briggs from Fulham and Haris Vuckic from Newcastle United. These players will surely make the difference in the Championship. I just hope Leicester can kick start there season against Norwich City otherwise Sousa could be sacked. He has to realise he is letting down the fans. LCFC Fans are the best home and away matches. I just hope he can turn this season around on Tuesday and I hope people have faith in him. Lets just hope for the positive now. COME ON LEICESTER!
Karljohn Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Its times like these that I wonder just what NP and MON are thinking right now....if there was a vacancy in the near future I don't see either taking the hotseat back to be honest, especially MON who's not exactly a fan of being dictated to by a boardroom, Pierpoint, Lerner etc...I think the he's pretty much severed all Thai's!
ramboacdc Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 my mate always talks about when he was at the sheff utd game where people were chanting "o'neill out" when things were not going so great and "look what happened after that" ill give sousa until christmas before im calling for his head 100% but patience is thinner than a bulimic heroin addict right now.
ballso Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 like many other fans have said, i've tried to be optimistic and find positives so far this season, but really after tonight i'm at a complete loss. it's yoyo at the moment, after tuesday i was lifted again and thought perhaps this was the spark to get us going, but then we get smashed tonight and it's rock bottom again. something has got to give, and it's got to be sousa's job i'm afraid. i'm all for giving a manager time, but it's clearly not working tactically and with the style of football he's trying to play. to be fair tonight i don't think we played football at all actually, seemed to be lumping the ball forward the majority of the time, and not keeping it on the deck and passing it around. added to all this the manner of the defeat was awful and saddening to watch. there was no fight. i wouldn't mind if we showed heart and desire, but we didn't and i really don't think we'd have seen that performance under pearson. added to the fact that it's basically the same side, then something obviously isn't right. to me it seems the players don't want to play under sousa, and i think he's just got to go now. i think it's too late and we need to take action now. sadden's me to say it, but we should cut our losses and start afresh.

But for every O'Neill there's been a Taylor, a Levein, a Kelly, a Holloway... Sousa has lost the dressing room. The players (especially the defenders, once the rock on which the rest of the team was bult) don't trust him and can't play for him. Time to put him out of his misery. Let Chris Powell take charge for the next two games and bring in Tony Mowbray in time for the Thailand trip.

Karljohn Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I'm thinking who would take charge IF Sousa left and his backroom staff also left, Chrissy P? Almost certainly, maybe staying put if someone like Curbs or Pardew came in, Charlton Links.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 It's Ince, or Curbishley if you're very lucky.
Lord Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 A lot of people have voiced a opinion that the players don't want to play for PS and after tonight showing I'm inclined to agree. Looking at our squad list we have a group if very good players and IMO played correctly and actually wanting to play for a manager I think we could do well Over to you Paulo!
Ultra Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 It's Ince, or Curbishley if you're very lucky. Ince wasn't even good enough for Franchise. What would we want with him?
breadandcheese Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 To be honest, I've thought Sousa wasn't the man for a few games now. Tonight was humiliating and underlined my belief. We are not progressing and have been thrashed by the bottom of the league team.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Ince wasn't even good enough for Franchise. What would we want with him? We wouldn't (well I wouldn't), but that's the reality. If Sousa goes it will be Ince or Curbishley, with Ince the most likely.
orangecity23 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Even Peter Reid isn't available any more. CHECKS WIKI ... Bugger me, John Gregory has a job. All the traditional shit out of work managers we get linked with are unavailable. I bet Megson wouldn't even come back. Not enough Right Backs in the squad to entice him.
theoxonfox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 TONY MOWBRAY!!!!..........As sousa said "someones in for a hell of a beating"......didnt know it was gonna be us!
Lord Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 We wouldn't (well I wouldn't), but that's the reality. If Sousa goes it will be Ince or Curbishley, with Ince the most likely. Why do you say Ince?
dandannieldanok Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Why do you say Ince? This is literally the first time I've ever had any 'inside info', but if Sousa were to go Ince is at the front of the queue. This was before tonight.

Tilley Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I knew this takeover business would go tits up.
Wymsey Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I knew this takeover business would go tits up. and bollocks very down as well
dandannieldanok Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Go on give us a bit more on the "inside Info" Not much to tell really more than that. Mandaric has gone for Ince before that's public knowledge, I've been told not to be surprised if he steps into the breach. Hopefully Sousa can turn it around so it doesn't come to that. And it could well be a steaming pile of bullshit, I don't know.

You might wanna add Dowie then seeing as mandaric is keen on him,why wont the new owners make a choice knowing mandaric"s track record with appointinting managers.
Tilley Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 We were so stable back in May, those solid foundations that Pearson built are well and truly gone. Stupid owners that just want to make us a 'brand' back in Thailand, a twat of a manager who plays players out of position and shit foreign players like Vitor who don't know their arse from their elbow. Carry on like this and League One will be greeting us with open arms, again.
