Jackarmy Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 i've had enough! Playing Vitor over Hobbx? Playing Waghorn out of position! Playing Oakley over Wellens? What a load of shit! SOUSA OUT Sousa in until the 24th October.
James. Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 NEW OWNERS OUT, more like. If they hadn't come along then we wouldn't even have had to worry about Sousa. This is a culmination of the short sightedness of the dick heads that now run our club. Everything they have done so far (and they haven't done much) has set this club back. They got rid of Pearson because they wanted Sousa. Could turn out to be one of the worst managerial decisions ever taken by this club (and that includes Holloway). They are sending the players to fucking Thailand. Yep, that's definitely for the benefit of the players isn't it. We're not Man United or Chelsea, we're NEVER going to be attractive to the Far East market. Since Pearson left I've lost a lot of love and respect for the club. If these new owners don't start thinking what's best for the team instead of what they think is best for the "market share" and the "customer base" and the "market penetration" then we're fucked. Sort it out.
rtukuk Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Does our current plight remind anyone of a similar feelign and situation a few months after Peter Taylor took over? As much as I think a manager should be given a fair chance, when you try to change a team too fast, subsitute the best players, they want to leave and you see the players playing without any confidence / direction - you know right or wrong things have got to change. Some things are recoverable with the right motivating manager, some things aren't. I didn't see the team coming out for a fight last night after half time. We need leaders on and off the pitch. Watching Sousa's body language last night when he was sat down watching the goals fly in, I think he know's the writngs on the wall and he can't turn this round. On the team generally, I thought we missed Wayne Brown and Richie Wellens terribly last night. Our central defence has looked shaky all year without Brown. I would play Morrison as right back when he gets his confidence back, he was good last season. Not fantastic at getting forward and beating people but a solid full back that added some height and gets a few goals. Waghorn has to play as a striker full stop, not an attacking midfielder / winger. We need to think not just of playing fancy football, we have a real fight ahead of us and we need players charged up who are ready for a war.
maddog Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Do you seriously want to completely write off the season by sacking Sousa now We know we have the quality to stay up, the guys got to be given until Christmas at least. Who else is there, Sousa was the best manager we could have gotten from the Championship bunch after what he did at Swansea. To sack him after he's made all these signings now would be suicide for this season. Last night was a freak result, we lose 6-1 once every 8 years or so, get over it and move on.
Sly Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 At this stage, if I was still a season ticket holder, I'd happily sell it. Shambolic and bizarre is how I'd describe us. Altough, in the back of my mind I think .... remember MON start at Leicester, remember the protest to get him out? Then it clicked and things fell into place and he went on to become a club legend. Raj it, Paulo reminds me of Taylor, he's gotta go after that.

adamkhalifa Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Not a fan of Sousa from day one. 1. Team not playing as a team 2. Not flexible, loves his 4-5-1 system. Despite what he says 4-3-3 (bo++ocks) 3. Love affair for Oakley 4. Love affair for the midfielders 5. I really hate it when we pass, just for the sake of it. especially when another of our players is a yard away. 6. The guy watches another match. Listen to his talks after the game. 7. Every time a player comes on, watch his face. (hhhmmmmm what, ay, yeah) look 8. Which of his signings has looked any good? (Abe, Waggers are Milans) Not to sure about the others that are mentioned 1. Pardew, reminds me of Taylor and the pelcan head at Blackpool 2. Walsh, can't be asked to get into management or start from the bottom 3. Dowie, you must be having a F++cking laugh Mark Robbins, Zola would be a good shout.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 We have had enough of his 'tactics' and shite decisions. This is a facebook page I found! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Leicester/Get-Sousa-out-of-Leicester-City/147988261903862?ref=ts
teblin Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I actually think at the home games we have played the fans have been fairly patient i was suprised there hasn't been more booing. We booed Nige even though we were top in league one. Biggest mistake was allowing pearson to leave not appointing sousa. The players want to play for Pearson not sousa and paulo was always going to struggle with that. What is depressing we came so far in 2 years and now seem to have regressed. Only hope is that we do have is we still have some very good championship footballers at the club and if we do get a new manager they have a decent squad to work with and with the addition of a couple of loans they could push us up the table. If they don't sack Sousa I hope he prove us all wrong and turns it around, but its looking bleak for him.
FrankieADZ Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 well after the resukts last night i wouldnt be surprised if he's lost the dressing room. Still dont undersatnd some of his thinking, dropping Hobbs... well with his tactics and selection his making a rd for his own back, and will be out the door sharpish if we get beat the next 2 games.

Ref to Point 5 - I've said in other threads we need to go back to basics and stop the 'flouncy' Sexy football – great over in Europe and IMO it should stay over there. Don't get me wrong I like entertaining football but good old fashioned basic football can be good to watch too when played well. Ref to Point 8 - Maybe the case but I think Abe is very good and Waggy has shown us what he can do when he isn't shoved out on the wing ( but if your referring to the fact that they are here due to Milan and not Sousa saying hey LCFC Board I'd like to sign Abe and Waggy – then your point is well taken and agreed with) With regards to a replacement if Sousa does go - I don't have a clue
James. Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Biggest mistake was allowing pearson to leave not appointing sousa. We didn't "allow" him to leave, by all accounts it was a condition of the takeover. That's what fucks me off about this. Owners thinking they know how to make a football club successful. Wankers.
escape2victory Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 To get points in the Championship to you need to do the basics well, such as having high fitness levels, being well organised, difficult to score against, and be good at set pieces both attacking and defending. The amount of games that are won by an odd goal from a corner or free kick id say are pretty high. From what ive seen of Leicester this season, we are none of the above. Personally I feel Sousa is too arrogant to want to work on the basics of the game. I think he feels he is above wanting to work on defending and attacking corners and working on the defensive shape. This is the first time as a Leicester fan where if we win a corner, i dont get excited, as i know we wont score off it. Sure, the Sousa passing game might occassionally click and we get the odd impressive result, but to have any sort of consistancy in this league you need to be the above. Might as well start talking about alternatives, as Sousa will be long gone by xmas. Sean O'Driscoll stands out for me. Done a cracking job consolidating Donny in the Championship, and seems to have excellent contacts in the game.

I really think he's lost it now, I agree, he will be gone by Christmas. Who will come here now though?
Number 6 Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I really rally wanted it to work for him here, and up until last night I was willing to give him time. If we could put weaker teams to the sword then maybe we weren't doomed. But we were awful last night. All of Pearson's work gone in 90 mins. No Jack Hobbs? Waggy out right? Howard with no-one to feed? Nothing made sense, and it showed. Chrissy P is a great shout, maybe not glamorous enough for our owners but would instantly have players and fans on side.

The problem Sousa is got is that there is such bad feeling already amongst so many supporters, it would be a struggle for any manager to turn that around, let alone one so egotistical and arrogant as Sousa. And that is why he has to go. If we had a chariman who knew british football they'd see it. Unfortunately we have some people who probably hadn't even heard of Leicester before that **** agent Zahavi got involved, and Mandaric is spending more time flirting with Portsmouth than he is trying to do his current job. And that is why we won't be seeing the back of the arrogant waster any time soon.
l444ry Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Sousa must go but god forbid that our esteemed tit of a chairman, Mandaric, has any say on the new appointment. The new owners need to take full control, ship the tit out and start again. Mandaric is the biggest clown that has ever landed on this club since I've supported them and how anyone can defend this football pygmy beggers belief!
wurmer Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 We will end up with Bryan Robson - he's probably the only western manager they've any experience of.

jonw88 Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Another thing that annoys me about Sousa is he's not making good use of the loan system. We've missed out on some real peaches from the premier league e.g. Bostock, Bellamy, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Keogh etc. etc. and it troubles me that he's not looking at proven English players but instead opting to splash out on random foreigners with no pedigree in the championship game, very much like the Martin Allen days. We need good quality proven championship or premiership fringe players to make it in this league.
eaststandtom Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 i said pre season that i would wait 10 games before offering an opinion about sousa but............... i think city have shown enough by the way they have been playing for me to think sousa is onto something but that was before last nights shambles. before, we could have said 4 losses in 7 was a 'freak start' as the team reacclimatised to new manager, season etc etc but last night was so poor and the managers decision to drop jack hobbs filled me with disbelief. a fifth defeat and the manner of it doesnt suggest but shows that there is a problem. for me i think he should have more time but if 2 more defeats come from opening 10 games then..... milan had to justify pearsons removal by city equalling at least last seasons finish.
Tuna Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I had a horrible feeling about Sousa the moment he arrived. He just did not see to fit. He does not strike me as leader of men, he appears to be too much of a nice guy and tactically, decision wise he seems very, very naive. He is not capable of turning things around here. The heart and soul has been ripped from the club and the only positive I can have from the last few weeks is that we have time to bring a new man in and get him to turn it around. We have the players here, they are simply being managed and coached badly. A result like this one yesterday is akin to Norwich 1-7 Colchester, IE unrecoverable. He has lost the fans and probably the dressinjg room as these guys clearly do not want to play for the guy. He's a likeable chap SOusa, but he is obviously out of his depth and delusional if his post match comments are anything to go by. Could you imagine Fat Sam Allardyce praising his players after that humiliating capitulation? Or even a prat like Phil Brown? He's not capable of getting us going and I really fear that if we don't act soon it will be too late. We already look like a team destined for relegation. I hope that the new owners recognize this and put Sousa out of his and our misery and get in a real manager who will sort this thing out and fast.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I got a text from my contact saying simply 'the coach is an idiot', this was at the QPR game. Says it all really. Did he ever leave his seat during the game last night? I'm sure at one point he turned and looked to oliviera and said 'this is shit', so at least he can speak some english. Gathered up in a tent, and wheelbarrowed by Sousa and his dour faced assistant, every one of us
