Webbo Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 The players dont know what they're doing and it looked tonight like Sousa didnt either. We gave him a top 6 side with a great attitude and work ethic and he's dismantled it completely. Yes we play nice football on occasion but for whatever reason it just doesnt work. When Hobbs was about to come on, he looked like he wanted to smack Sousa let alone take his instruction. I cant see him turning it around. I hate to say that he should go so early on but it really looks like there is no other option if we want to save the season. You've changed your tune.
bettso Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Mowbray or Pardue are available. I'll be amazed if Sousa is in charge in the morning.
Edmund Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 You've changed your tune. It seems plenty have. The club hasn't been the same off or on the field since the start of the season yet the deluded on here were to stubborn to accept anyones points of view but their own.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have joined the 'Sousa Out' crew.
Marmite Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 fook off sousa before you kill our club..........o'neill back although I doubt he will come
jonw88 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 He's clueless, can't communicate with the players obviously, he's so inactive on the touchline and there's no team spirit. Not good and there's no point saying let's wait another few games and we'll see, we've seen and we can only be pessimistic from what we've seen. Better to get rid sooner rather than later. It would be nice to be able to attract a quality manager such as Mowbray, Curbs (or even O'Neill back ) but having shown the world that horror performance we'll probably end up with another dunce like Megson or Paul Hart and it'll be back to right back united!
bettso Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 You've changed your tune. Are you surprised? After the O'Neill protest I've always made sure that I give all managers a fair crack at the job before calling for their head but tonight has ended all faith I have in Sousa.
Floridafox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 For the first time this season refuse to read any defence of Sousa (If there is is any left). Until tonight I still clung on to the hope that the season would spark into life with Sousa's alchemist's touch. Not anymore. Unsure who makes the decision but we need the new man in by the time the next international break comes around. At least we know Mandaric is not averse to firing mangers after just a few games
Yojoe36 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Is there gonna be a protest at the walkers tomorz? I'd go!
Walkers Wench Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 i've had enough! Playing Vitor over Hobbx? Playing Waghorn out of position! Playing Oakley over Wellens? What a load of shit! SOUSA OUT After being willing to give him a fair go,,,i couldnt agree with what you have said more,,,the man is arrogant,,,thing are clearly not working, he will not alter his ways and he carries on game after game. We hear excuses and get pacified. Shall we give him another half dozen or so games? No more. Enough is enough, this is my team hes pissing about with and im bloody mad! Look at the spirit he inherited. Is he going to be allowed to carry on until it is too late to salvedge anything?
Guest ttfn Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I'd take Mowbray like a shot. He was my first choice this summer.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I think that a lot of people who are saying Sousa will get the chop forget one thing. He was brought in to attract the new owners and other investors because he was someone people had heard of internationally, even if it's not as a manager. I doubt he will be going any time soon and I believe he will get more than the usual patience from the new owners.

The new owners will notice the empty seats - I can't see how non-ST holders are gonna keep coming and pay to watch utter shite and bizarre management decisions....

ousefox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I was willing to give him a chance when he came in, knowing full well he had nothing on NP as a manager. Even up to this game i still felt we had something but now i feel he has to go. Totally unscrewed everything good about Pearson's team and we were absolutely pathetic today. I hope Milan can do the same as what he did at Portsmouth with Redknapp and get NP back. Wishful thinking eh? <_<

Things have to change rapidly or he won't last until October.
Floridafox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 This almost feels like a cleansing - being so abysmal tonight leaves me with no doubt he has to go. A narrow, 'unlucky' 2-1 defeat would have still left room for uncertainty. Such a train wreck removes all doubt. At least with there still being plenty of life in the season respect could still be restored by the right man. Warning signs were there early including pre-season (fitness levels and stuff). I suppose we just refused to admit they could be true.
turkish14 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 things that have made me worried..... 1)saying we will get promotion within 2 years 2)first day of pre season training getting the footballs out not the usual fitness based training 3)players that were awful last season being the 1st names on the sheet this season 4)players that were regulars last season being on the bench this season 5)5 new signings that are either on the bench or not in squad at all 6)those signings that have played have being distinctly average a la martin allen reign 7)foxestalkers saying that the players look disintrested during pre match warm up 8)players looking shattered 9)subsequently players usually so reliable making mistake after mistake 10)players handing in transfer request 11) a post match analysis that differs from 99.9% of others opinions im sure theres more......?
Corky Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 He was my first choice this summer. Mine too.
Yojoe36 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Sousa has no defense. Join Martin Allen and his show of muppets.

jonah Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 im always one to give managers time ( i actually wanted us to stick with holloway when he sent us down!) but the point is this time i cant actually see this getting any better, there is nothing on the pitch that at the moment looks like its able to be competative in this league, the body languade is all wrong, there is no unity or solidarity, there doesnt seem to be one city player who wants to play for this manager, players who performed well for us last season now look lost and out of there depth, im sorry but this bloke has to go NOW , not in 4 or 5 more games or at xmas because i honestly believe it will be too late by then, his style of football might suit the portugese 2nd division but it doesnt suit this division and it defeinatly doesnt suit the players who he chooses to wear our shirts.
