Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If you want Sousa out and you're planning on vocalising your feelings on this, please, please, please leave it to the end of the match. It's obvious that there will be chanting for Sousa to go in our first home game since the Pompey debacle, but starting the game on a negative note will do nothing to lift the team (who are also, let's not forget, in part responsible for what happened last Friday) and regardless of whether you want him to stay or not, a loss on Saturday will not help the club one little bit. It would only make it that much harder for a new manager to pull us out of the mire. But at times like this that the crowd can really do its part in instilling some belief in the players and giving them a modicum of confidence. At the end of the match - whatever the result - feel free, it's not going to affect the team's morale too much and you still get to make your point. After all, it's not like MM is going to sack PS moments before kick-off because of the fans' reaction.
caz05 Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 Im as unhappy as the next person, but i really think we should get behind the team on saturday. We need a win and if we start getting on thier backs, thier heads will drop even more. We are at home and we can win this, lets just get behind them
radical Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 Agreed. All though its hard times, we all SUPPORT the same team. I feel the right thing will happen on its own!
chavdonk Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 i agree if we lose then voice your opinions after the game, support the team the full 90 minutes!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 September 2010 Author Posted 29 September 2010 He may be gone by Saturday.... I personally doubt it. Rumour (and fairly founded rumour it would seem) is he was brought in to attract investors, investors who have yet to properly have their i's dotted and t's crossed on their papers. My feeling is that he will get more than the usual patience from MM.
doughnut Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 Yes i agree, though should we go 1-0 down and arent playing very well, i can fully understand the fans shouting for his head out of sheer frustration midway through the game. Im getting behind the boys but im certainly one that will be making my feelings known at the end of the game, win, lose or draw this clown as got to go
Finnegan Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If attendances are down on Saturday it will be more damning than the result. Investors care about profit.
HonradaRaposa Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 Deary deary me. They have had our support and see where it has got us. The need to be told every single one of them that this last week has been a disgrace.
Wymsey Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If attendances are down on Saturday it will be more damning than the result. Investors care about profit. Apparently its 27 quid for some of the tickets. This expensive rate and us playing terribly crap will really boost crowd numbers. We will soon meet cov scum's attendances of 16,000 or less.
Jackirius Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I would never protest against a manager or a team. Let whatever happens happen, your not going to change it.

I fully epect banners and booing throughout the game unfortunately I won't Sousa to go as much as the next person but I'm still going to behave like a true fan

Really though the ticket prices have been a joke this season especially for platinum games. Luckily I have a season ticket

Guest Bilo Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If attendances are down on Saturday it will be more damning than the result. Investors care about profit. Yep. Everyone should boycott the game and hit the investors where it hurts. Not really an option for me though as they already have my season ticket money.

Kitchandro Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 You may 'lose' this after the game. I'm sure someone will have it for 50 p
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 September 2010 Author Posted 29 September 2010 Yep. Everyone should boycott the game and hit the investors where it hurts. Not really an option for me though as they already have my season ticket money. I can see the point of this, but again, it's not going to support the team. It's a little like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Although I won't be able to be there because of work (and the ridiculously expensive ticket prices this season) it's times like this that I really want to be there to get behind the team, because I don't care about anything other than that we win. Probably the best way to show your disaffection, if anyone wants to do that, and not affect team morale, is to demonstrate outside the ground?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 September 2010 Author Posted 29 September 2010 I'm sure someone will have it for 50 p I call your 50p and raise you a quid!
m00nie Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 considering the investors havent invested yet maybe protests and boycotts should be put on hold... imaging them there Saturday and half the grounds empty and the other half is booing and chanting sousa out.. they may take there money and run and leave us with milan (who we all know is itching to bugger off to pourtsmouth )

Dr The Singh Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I will be calling for Sousa to give me head, win or lose!!
bettso Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 Well said Can't see your rally to act with dignity paying off though! I fully epect banners and booing throughout the game unfortunately I won't Sousa to go as much as the next person but I'm still going to behave like a true fan Personally i'd prefer Sousa to prove everybody wrong, get the team winning and move us up the table. I've got nothing against the man personally he's just doing a crap job at the minute. I agree with the nature of this thread though. It would be awful for the players but music to the oppostions ears. I dont want to lose to fooking s****horpe and i'm positive nobody else does either. Let's not give them any help that they dont already need.
