Messi Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I will be supporting the team, I won't be supporting Sousa.
Wymsey Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I will be supporting the team, I won't be supporting Sousa. I took that decision after the Burnley game.
Swalker Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If you want Sousa out and you're planning on vocalising your feelings on this, please, please, please leave it to the end of the match. It's obvious that there will be chanting for Sousa to go in our first home game since the Pompey debacle, but starting the game on a negative note will do nothing to lift the team (who are also, let's not forget, in part responsible for what happened last Friday) and regardless of whether you want him to stay or not, a loss on Saturday will not help the club one little bit. It would only make it that much harder for a new manager to pull us out of the mire. But at times like this that the crowd can really do its part in instilling some belief in the players and giving them a modicum of confidence. At the end of the match - whatever the result - feel free, it's not going to affect the team's morale too much and you still get to make your point. After all, it's not like MM is going to sack PS moments before kick-off because of the fans' reaction. Thats a great point and I will only be chanting after the match, only if he lasts that long
wurmer Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I will be supporting the team, I won't be supporting Sousa. Me too.
Neil_LCFC Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 No good chanting after the match when they are all tucked up in the dressing room, best way to make your feelings known is during it . I really hope he is gone before saturday as it would diffuse the situation, but if he isn't hopefully a win & then sack him. Even if we win we will be bottom 3 after 10 games which is a sackable offence with this squad in my opinion. If we go behind & he is still in charge I think it could get pretty ugly.
rayraysworld Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I see that once again Cov City have been put down during the course of this thread. No need for it, is there? I believe your squad to be better than it's current position suggests and I think you will climb the table shortly, regardless of what manager is in charge. However, I am very happy with Sousa so far. Keep it up, PS!

We can say what the hell we like on our OWN forum.we are not the ones going on to someone elses forum telling their manager to carry on with the bad results.
CaptBonez Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 we all have to rely on deadlines. If Sousa can't hold his, then the best would be to walk away. I am boycotting Thai food until ...... at least 20th standing...

rabbid Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If you want Sousa out and you're planning on vocalising your feelings on this, please, please, please leave it to the end of the match. When Manderic is tucked away in the Directors bar having a pint in quiet? Whats the point of protesting trough singing if he cant here it? But as I said in the other thread I think those who want to protest should do it buy staying away.
talkfoxes.com Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If we get relegated this season it proves that it was all sousa fault for playing players out of position.
somebum Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 I do not agree. This is like sacrificing the one to save the many. Get at Sousa from the start, the players will then see he's not the man, hopefully lose the game, and Sousa will be sacked. Absolutely no point in holding back the anti Sousa chants, if we win on the day we'll only go on to lose next time, its like prolonging the agony of the terminally ill

Even if we do there are no guarantees of Sousa going, and we could have further ground to make up. If the owners have anything about them they won't go on one performance or result, they'll look at the bigger picture. One win shouldn't sway them completely. We need to win, we need to get up the table.
somebum Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 If the owners have anything about them... Thats exactly my point
LukeyZade Posted 29 September 2010 Posted 29 September 2010 get behind the boys, especially call out the defenders, theyve had a hard time
Chrysalis Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 a win will paper over the cracks only. so if losing gets sousa out then so be it. Which means chant away.
talkfoxes.com Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Club need to use tatics as an advantage the next boss should try different formations, make sure the team are on the counter attack every game. Get rid of that 20 passes before shot that Sousa has created. Work on the lobs & get every player to have shot a goal though out training.
ian_marshall Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I'll support the players 100% on Saturday but i'm afraid to say i've lost all faith in the Manager after witnessing the events over the past week. Mr Sousa it's time to move on. Personally I agree with those poster's who are of the mindset that a win on Saturday will only delay the inevitable. Although i'm not overly impressed with the Management of the club at the moment, for once I don't think that we'll get relegated this season, as this would completely undermine the intentions of the new owners of achieving Premier League status. Yes, they seem to be responsible for the departure of Pearson, the appointment of Sousa, and clearly don't have any real connection to the club, but despite all of this they do seem to be very money oriented so I do not believe for one moment that they'd allow the club to drop down a division and delay the opportunity for capitalising on the fortunes of top flight football.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 For anybody who is going to call for Sousa to go throughout the game. What are your plans if we say go 4-0 up after about 1/2 an hour? Will you start chanting his name as if he is some kind of hero? I am not having a go at anyone who will be chanting for him to go but just wonder if you will have the balls to keep it up if we are murdering them. For me I obviously want Leicester to win but feel that no matter what happens, Sousa just isn't the man to manage Leicester. I am not sure I would want to start a negative chant before the game. Just seems counter-productive. I am all for venting your feelings afterwards but a witch hunt from the off is a little unpalatable for me.
z-layrex Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Imagine if Sousa turned everything around and we went on to have a great rest of the season. I wonder how everyone would feel? I guess if you love your club it's impossible to not be angry at the manager when things are going so badly.
Neil_LCFC Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Lets just get the 3 points then sack him because 3 points or not we are in the relegation zone after 10 games which means he has been absolutely useless.Southampton sacked Pardew after a win & Boro sacked Southgate last season after a win when they were about 6th !

Agree - just get behind the team from the start - on balance a big positive was the spirit and fight back on Tuesday - If Matty hadn't been red carded we were looking good for something from the game. But........ if they're really crap on Sat I reckon he'll go - international break would give the club a bit of time to make a rush decision!
