Right then.Its the mrs birthday soon (a big one) and i need some ideas of decent places to visit.

Im thinking of abroad , but as i have two young kids i dont really want anywhere too boring (for kids that is) and anywhere stag night ish.

someone did mention tallin.

Any ideas welcome.

Ive been to Tallin on a stag trip,so you might want to think about that as it is becoming very much a stag do location.Ive got 2 kids 10 and 7 and always have this problem as well,have you got understanding parents,in laws that might take them off your hands for a few days,knowing its a special birthday.if so Europe is your Oyster,Rome ,Paris,Barcelona.I know its not so romantic but a trip to london is good for kids.They can go on the metal underground worm,nat history museum,buck palace.china town etc

Centre Parcs! Not abroad, but great fun and plenty of things for everyone to do!

If you've got some dough, Copenhague great for kids with Tivoli Gardens and nearby Legoland but be warned it's expensive.

Tallin was brilliant when I was there for the day. Looked really historic and there were definitely a lot of families wondering around.
