chesterfox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 There is a real feel of excitement and anticipation for SATURDAY'S game - it almost feels like the start of the season again. It is quite amazing the change in atmosphere with the same group of people, players - let's hope it's not another false dawn but I feel really up for Saturday. Or should I know better??
davieG Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Let's hope Dawn's falsies are well covered I've seen enough of them!
Dr The Singh Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Yes, Sven in town pulling the birds, has me optimistic for some sloppy seconds!!!!
Corky Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I'm certainly feeling more optimistic about our future.
dpjfox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 i feel very optomistic and why not ,arguably one of the worlds best managers rich owners crap league
Guest Bilo Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 We have a team that was a penalty kick away from a play-off final last year still intact and a manager with a CV that dwarfs every other manager's in this division, as well as owners willing and able to splash the cash. On the other side, we over-achieved last season, have a manager who has gone from job-to-job since England and owners with no experience in English football. So I'm optimistic, but cautiously so.
Zingari Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 there is every reason to be wildly optimistic Webbo will definitely be a mod ; you can uncork the champers now

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Yes, Sven in town pulling the birds, has me optimistic for some sloppy seconds!!!! Once Sven has been with them I doubt you will even touch the sides. It will only lead to embarrassment and dissapointment for you.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 with good reason http://www.urbandict....php?term=webbo Webbo splash on.........I want some!!!

Dr The Singh Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 i think he's added his own definition for number 4 He's even selling Webbo merchandise......that's just class......wanting to be a mod has gone to his head or even better his Webbo region!!!

demon_dog Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I'll have to go away on holiday more often! Go for a weeks sun in the Canary Isles and what happens; 1. The worst manager in LCFC history gets sacked. 2. We appoint one of the best recognised managers worlwide with a good track record (both on and off the pitch) 3. We have the new owners promising a lot of money to let the manager buy players to hopefully get us back into the Premiership. 4. We now have cult status in Thailand. 5. We can all smile again as things can only get better. Personally I feel that the appointment of Sven is excellent for the club. He has a very good track record, don't feel that he is here for the money, contrary to mant peoples thoughts. I think he probably relishes the challenge of getting us into the Premiership and ensuring we stay there. Let's get the Optimistic bus going again. Now, who has the keys?
caz05 Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Once Sven has been with them I doubt you will even touch the sides. It will only lead to embarrassment and dissapointment for you.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Once Sven has been with them I doubt you will even touch the sides. It will only lead to embarrassment and dissapointment for you. So true, but it would mean I would have had more action then anytime in my life!!!!!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I've a feeling in my bones, which may or may not be osteoperosis, but as that daft bastard from D:Ream told us, things can only get better. I'm looking forward to Saturday. No really, I am
Guest bennytwohats Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I'm very excited about where we are at the moment, not too happy with the way we got here (I know i'm a minority but i think Paulo should have had more time, and also was pretty disappointed to find out about the Pearson stuff). I just hope our fans manage to keep their optimism in check, would love to see Sven really build something here, that will take a bit of time and patience from the fans and the chairman etc. We all know how tough this league is to get out of, and we're going forward now from a less than ideal position. So yeah, i'm incredibly excited and quite optimistic, i just hope people try to keep their expectations within reason.
Alexikokopops Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I've a feeling in my bones, which may or may not be osteoperosis, but as that daft bastard from D:Ream told us, things can only get better. I'm looking forward to Saturday. No really, I am Exactly. Just look what happened to D:Ream's keyboard player.
Fosse Boy Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I hate being cynical but I'm afraid I really think the shit will hit the fan once Sven or the Thais get bored with us. Guess we'll just have to learn to enjoy ourselves until then.
CheshireFox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Let's hope Dawn's falsies are well covered I've seen enough of them! sadly i think you may well have difficulty getting many other people to understand your post, but i totally agree. however, i think i am more concerned about Ann's 'realies' being flung about. never something that should be witnessed on the box.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Exactly. Just look what happened to D:Ream's keyboard player. I had literally no idea about that, you learn something new every day. Well not every day, the last thing I learned was how to play the theme to 'In The Nightgarden' on my guitar, and that was about a week ago. A new thing every week isn't bad though
