Webbo Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 He's even selling Webbo merchandise......that's just class......wanting to be a mod has gone to his head or even better his Webbo region!!! you do realise that when he gets the job , you and me are fookin marked men If I ever catch you pair you'll get a kick in the Webbos.
Alexikokopops Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I had literally no idea about that, you learn something new every day. Well not every day, the last thing I learned was how to play the theme to 'In The Nightgarden' on my guitar, and that was about a week ago. A new thing every week isn't bad though It's a good little fact, isn't it? I'm glad I broadened your horizons.
Jimmy2Drags Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Gonna be a brilliant season from here on in! We've got one of the most successful managers on the planet (and footballs equivalent of an international pimp) AND got 10 million to spend! Play-offs by Xmas, top by Easter, Premier League here we come!
ajthefox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I hate being cynical but I'm afraid I really think the shit will hit the fan once Sven or the Thais get bored with us. Guess we'll just have to learn to enjoy ourselves until then. I have to say I agree with that, but to be honest the wheels are already in motion so I'm putting that to the back of my mind because as things stand, we might welll have some success inbetween now and then. I find it hard to believe that anyone would not be quite excited and optimistic at heart. The longevity is doubtful, but where we sit now is for me a much better seat than that friday a couple weeks back, and in heinsight (sp?), although I think Sousa deserved longer, I totally understand why Milan did it before the Scunny game, although maybe not quite so late on. It wouldn't be unfair to say that MM probably spoke to Sven before giving Sousa his orders, so bearing that in mind, it was a sensible time to get rid because this international break and the trip to Thailand feels like a clean slate. The boys got a win under chrissy p and stowell, and it's set up the Sven era perfectly for me. I for one have not been this excited about a city league game in a long time.
rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 well i for 1 am anticipating this new era. if not lets face it we had a good go trying before getting kicked in the webbos
Leicester_Loyal Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Lets just have a good time and hopefully reach the premiership either this season or next. We'll all be going through it together
singinpete Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 If Sven sees out his contract and the money flows like weve been told it will, theres no reason why we shouldnt be in the prem with a good enough squad to stay in it.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 you do realise that when he gets the job , you and me are fookin marked men Webbo for mod!
acooling08 Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 If we lose against Hull, all the RL ****** will call for Svens sacking including a good few on here. We need to move out of the relegation zone before I get optimistic.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Let's be realistic...We've no chance of winning the league this season. We'll just have to settle for pomotion via the play-offs and winning the League and FA Cups Besides you don't get the extra trip to Wembley if you go up as champs
Mee Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I am full of optimism at the moment. In a way we have nothing to lose. We can only go on the up surely? We have a strong team, and Sven is very experienced. Really looking forward to the Hull game.
Matt Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Gotta say when we first go Sven I was unsure and apprehensive, and although there's not much to judge on on the pitch (Barr a friendly v Thailand) I have got a good feeling and getting excited, really looking forward to Saturday, Just hope it's for good reason.

My money's on Horanda whatshisface After the many years of disappointment and false dawns despair is now my middle name and will take more than the appointment of Sven to remove it but as my sig says it's not the despair it's the hope and I'll not start hoping for sometime yet. Even keel for me neither optimistic of pessimistic.

Even keel for me neither optimistic of pessimistic. Two's up with them thoughts. After seeing how so called "massive clubs" have ended up after being bought out,i dont think this spells a new dawn for LCFC. Dont want to put a downer on things as its great that people are optimistic,BUT i cant help thinking this will all end in tears...Obviously hope im wrong.
samjohnson Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 The optimism is flowing out of every hole in my body The only way is up!!
