Libertine Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 The programme is designed/edited to give certain people more airtime and publicity, so more people ring up. They were the best singers there but Cowell didn't see fit to promote them the same way he did Cher or One Direction. Both acts completely devoid of any personailty and lacking any discernable talent, but both praised by Cowell week in, week out, and both followed throughout the series from their original audition to the final live shows (in One Direction's case it followed the five of them seperatley until the group formed). Someone like Wagner lasted as long as he did because Cowell's a very clever man, who knows that by creating 'pantomime villain' type characters, will get more gullible twats ringing up, and making him more moolah, whereas acts he doesn't hype up beyond belief seem to get cast aside as 'boring.' Your post being an example of this branding. I agree completely. And please tell me what on Earth 'bare peng' means.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 I agree completely. And please tell me what on Earth 'bare peng' means. I think it means 'very attractive.' 'MATT CARDLE IS BARE PENG.' Please kill me now.
Libertine Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 I think it means 'very attractive.' 'MATT CARDLE IS BARE PENG.' Please kill me now. Haha. According to my research, quite correct. About died laughing when I saw it after your status last night.
StanSP Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11991050 What I found amusing, was the fact that Daily Mail (and possibly other papers) moaned about the raunchy clothes/behaviour being before the watershed, but then proceeded to post pictures of said raunchy clothes/behaviour in their papers, which is available before watershed
Stevosevic Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Cher Llloyd has been signed to Jay-Z's label, we are bound to hear from her soon, and if all of Jay-Z's other acts are to go by, she will be very successful.

Samilktray Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Why she'd sign with Jay-Z I'll never know.
