Alexikokopops Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Watched the England innings at work. Superb entertainment!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha - just watched the highlights on ITV4 (ITV? Cricket?) and it was very satisfying to watch the Austrailians go from jubilation thinking they'd one, to one of dispair as they boys went and grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat.
Edmund Posted 16 January 2011 Author Posted 16 January 2011 Fantastic ending to this ODI. Australia need 31 from 24 balls.
Edmund Posted 16 January 2011 Author Posted 16 January 2011 Looks like England are gonna throw it away Hat's off to Shane Watson. Absolutely bullying our bowlers. Horrible drop from Trott earlier.
Corky Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Shame to start with a defeat, plenty of time to turn it round however.
Alexikokopops Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I'm tempted to sort out a trip to Sri Lanka next year...
Brainy Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 is it sri lanka and new zealand we're touring next winter?
Brainy Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 wow. sounds like a fun holiday away for them all. it will only have been 3 years since we toured India.. + Pakistan cant host matches yet. i thought it was like a four year cycle and that this year we were due to tour sri lanka and new zealand again
Alexikokopops Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 wow. sounds like a fun holiday away for them all. it will only have been 3 years since we toured India.. + Pakistan cant host matches yet. i thought it was like a four year cycle and that this year we were due to tour sri lanka and new zealand again Yeah, I was a bit surprised to. India isn't tests, just 5 ODIs and a T20. We also went to India in 2006. Pakistan's meant to be 3 tests and 5 ODIs this time next year. I'm hoping to make it to the West Indies next time we're there, but I'll be waiting a few years for that pleasure.
Brainy Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 there'll probably be another T20 WC arranged there soon.
Fox You Forest Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 I'm hoping to make it to the West Indies next time we're there, but I'll be waiting a few years for that pleasure. Draws galore on the flattest pitches you're ever likely to see, suppose their is plenty of other things to occupy your time in the Windies though.
