bluesbrothers Posted 20 February 2014 Share Posted 20 February 2014 Picked up BE at the weekend (couldn't really argue at £2.99 for the special edition) and quite like it. Tails off a bit towards the end, but some great tracks on there. Flick Of The Finger, Face The Crowd and Start Anew are up there with the best post-Oasis songs from either of the Gallagher brothers. Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 April 2014 Share Posted 17 April 2014 Saw them when they supported the Roses at Heaton Park. Absolutely crap.
Matt Posted 25 October 2014 Share Posted 25 October 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/29770132 Liam Gallagher has announced that his band Beady Eye is no more. He posted the news on Twitter, thanking fans for their support, but offered no reason why they were splitting. The band formed in 2009 and was made up of former Oasis members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and drummer Chris Sharrock. They released two albums: 2011's Different Gear, Still Speeding and 2013's BE but neither replicated Oasis' immense success. No bad thing really. Fox92 Posted 15 January 2015 Share Posted 15 January 2015 Oasis need to reformIt's the only sensible answer They must know they'd make an absolute fortune if they reunited because everybody would buy their material and go to the gigs. Same applies to The Smiths and The Jam.
The Doctor Posted 15 January 2015 Share Posted 15 January 2015 They must know they'd make an absolute fortune if they reunited because everybody would buy their material and go to the gigs. Same applies to The Smiths and The Jam. Not as if they need the money though, besides when the Gallagher brothers hate each other's guts, they're not gonna get back together - particularly given Noel is doing fine on his own. purpleronnie Posted 15 January 2015 Share Posted 15 January 2015 I hope they don't, always depressing to see bands reunite.
