blueredswed Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 i think we could be on the search for a new manager within the next few days.....this is the last thing we need. Why? Just 3 more players to the team... Perhaps those january leaving we are looking for 3 or four more.. Sven sees below youngest I believe!
Tewy5 Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 No way would sven go he wants to take city up not newcastle down just hope we give him wot he wants in january
Guest shearfox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 It won't happen, I doubt Newcastle would get him even if they wanted him. His hardly going to get the financial backing required to get Newcastle any farther than what they are now. Plus who would want to work under a Muppet like Ashley possibly the worse chairman any club could have.
B52 Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Top is a master at chess. When Newcastle starts looking for a new manager he puts two attractions in the board so Sven will be distracted. I take a bow.
markbsac Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 just said on radio leicester ...hes very happy to remain at leicester !
dannythefox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Sven wouldnt go there hes here to take us to the prem. Its got o'neil all over it with the fans that newcastle have its a sleeping giant.
StanSP Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Sven wouldnt go there hes here to take us to the prem. Its got o'neil all over it with the fans that newcastle have its a sleeping giant. Hardly. He won't go to a club who's chairman has said there'll be NO money to spend in January. Pardew is reportedly being lined up what with bets being suspended on him to take the job.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 As I've posted on the Hughton thread, I can't see any serious manager going for the Newcastle job. It's a poisoned chalice. Why leave a club with owners that have signalled their intention to spend in January and have made their high opinion of Sven clear for a club in turmoil thanks to a useless owner who has run out of money and has a penchant for sacking managers for reasons known only to himself? It's the kind of job that will surely go to either someone who is unemployed or is desperately unhappy in their current position. I can't imagine either of these apply to Sven.
dannythefox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Hardly. He won't go to a club who's chairman has said there'll be NO money to spend in January. The owner wants a big name surely and O'Neil would fit the bill.
Webbo Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 o'neil doesnt spend alot anyway would all depend on if ashley could keep his beak out if he went Say what?
StanSP Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Why would you sack Hughton so that you could hire Pardew? The owner wants a big name surely and O'Neil would fit the bill. No idea! I feel very sorry for Hughton! O'Neill is a big name, and would fit the bill, but I don't see why he would go there after the treatment other managers have had as well as the money to spend issue.
Kitchandro Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Why would you sack Hughton so that you could hire Pardew? The owner wants a big name surely and O'Neil would fit the bill. Exactly, it won't be Pardew. It won't be Sven either though. O'Neill? Maybe that's who they have in mind, but I think he'd say no. And if he was approached and he did turn it down I would my arse off!
Kitchandro Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Sousa?! It's all making sense now. They were looking for someone with more experience of dismantling a decent team and being completely shit.
Tincy Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Newcastle have said they are not willing to pay any compo for their next manager.......
fatmando Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 We'll have to endure this wank everytime a Prem club loses/sacks their manager while we got SGE.
crazylegs1984 Posted 6 December 2010 Author Posted 6 December 2010 Kingslynn of course we will because at the end of the day sven is a premiership manager and in my opinion we are very very very lucky to have him so to answer your question YES!
jonthefox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Newcastle have said they are not willing to pay any compo for their next manager....... might be good news for us. what sort of contract is sven on. If its a rolling one ,were as good as fooked.
fatmando Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 OK calm down. I did not ask a question. I was referring to the speculation being wank, not your thread friend.
Up the fosse Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Martin jol just left Ajax looks like he's the man for Newcastle.
Callabinho Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 After signing the contract he has, do you think that they could afford to pay the comp? think not !
