I have to say i didnt quite see the hume goal so the marks are assuming nobodys fault

Weale 7 Afew good saves looked confident distribution ok generally sound

Naughton 7 Good performance as always, top drawer player

Hobbs 7 Solid

Bamba 8 The subject of most leicester chants, good in the air quick on floor comfortable on ball (a steal at £250k)

Berner 7 Solid, seemed to take a knock i would have to k him off with tuesday in mind

Abe 7 Defensively good, creatively average

Wellens 9 my MOTM, always available, prompting , the hub of everything

King 6 Low mark because he didnt get involved that much and missed a good chance to win it in injury time

Gally 7 Looked dangerous with set pieces, seemed to get a lot of the ball second half but imo too slow

Yukubu 8 Class act, always thought hed score given an opportunity

Dyer 7 Looked sharp and direct

subs

Oakley we tended to sit back after he came on

Moussa did he touch it?

Howard nearly scored with first touch

Adecent team performance and a definate 2 pts dropped PNE were up for it but we looked a class above

Can't believe we drew that! Should have won very comfortably.

Weale 7 Pulled off some excellent saves

Berner 7 Solid at the back and good going foward

Hobbs 6 Few misplaced passes but ovverall was ok

Bamba 7 Decent game again

Abe 7 Broke up play well and passed well

Wellens 8 Not a particularly great first half, guilty of giving it away a few times but was excellent in the second, tackled well and was always looking to recieve the ball

King 6 Went missing for large parts of the game and missed a great chance after Hume had scored

Dyer 6 Made a few decent runs

Gallagher 6.5 Hit the woodwork twice but the delivery of some of his set pieces were poor

Yakubu 7 Quite frustrating that he doesn't close people down but i suppose that's his style, when he was on the ball looked good, created some decent chances and obviously scored

Howard 5

Moussa 3 Gave the ball away everytime he had it in the last 5 mins!

Oakley 5

Hated seeing twatty old Phil 'Orange' Brown dancing about after the equaliser. Most definately two points dropped.

Naughton?

O aye yeah!

Naughton was ok, made some good challenges and looked good going foward. A solid 7 i'd say.

Another issue, for about 20 minutes we seemed to play like a poor man's Arsenal, wanting to walk the ball into the net, with no one willing to take a shot!

Weale 7 - Some very good saves, distribuition much improved.

Naughton 7 - Good energy going forward, composed on the ball.

Hobbs 6.5 - Some important challenges, good in the air as usual, slightly dodgy passing.

Bamba 8.5 - Good in the air, good on the floor, uses the ball well, a threat going forward.

Berner - 7 Solid defender, supported the attack very well considering others opinions of "legs being gone"

Dyer 6.5 - obvious his pace is a threat, not enough end product, could do with being a little wider, missed easy 1 on 1

Abe 8 - Full of energy, pretty good in the air, useful on the ball, linked up well with attack on occasions, getting better every game.

Wellens - 9 (mom) Best midfielder since Muzzy. intelligent use of the ball, superb link up play, got stuck in and bought the odd foul.

King 6 - Dissapointing, doesnt impose himself on the game, criminal to miss from there at the end.

Gallagher 8 - Got more involved, plenty of energy, defended as much as he could when required, superb free kick and header, always a threat with a dead ball.

Yakubu - 7 lovely goal, a few other chances also, looks unfit to me, but class obvious when ball at feet, People need to accept he's a goalscorer and not a 'chaser'

Subs.

Oakley 5 - Do not remember a noteworthy contribution, baffled as to his inclusion in the squad.

Howard 6 - Gave Cort a bit more to think about in the air, maybe should have come on for Yakubu a bit earlier? lovely pass to Kingy at the end.

Moussa 3 - Liabilty, almost lost us the game, gave the ball away every time he had it.

Rovrum is... ALIVE?!

Yep. You can put your willy away now.

Weale 8 - Took an early blow in the face with a great save, and a great save from Hume when he was in one on one. Very positive today, no chance with the goal.

Naughton 7 - Defended well and got forward well when he could.

Berner 6 - Solid, but quiet. Looked tired towards the end.

Bamba 7 - Solid, very calm but maybe a bit too casual at times.

Hobbs 7 - Looking to form a decent partnership with Bamba, sometimes seems to struggle in the air against smaller players for some reason.

Abe 9 - Our best player for me today. Worked hard, ran his socks off, was always there as an outlet ball and made a great defensive contribution.

Wellens 8 - Similar to Yuki really, but more creative. What we saw was a standard Wellens performance with a bit extra.

King 6 - One of his quieter games. Looks tired and in need of a rest for me. Should've scored at the end.

Gallagher 8 - His best game in a long time. Hit the woodwork with a great free-kick and a brilliant header. Took a couple of knocks today, but he put his shift in, was always another decent outlet.

Dyer 6 - Should've scored from 8 yards out when one on one again. His pace was always a threat, it's a shame he's not got a right foot.

The Yak 7 - Decent start to his career here, albeit never jumping for one header as he seems to want to hold up a lot. Showed big bursts of pace when he needed to, and should've scored in the first when his tame effort went straight at Lonergan. Gonna be a big player for us.

Oakley 6 - Didn't do too much, a couple of nice balls and some tidy defensive work.

Howard 6 - Not on for too long, but what a ball to King at the death.

Moussa 5 - Nice to see him on the pitch, but gave the ball away too many times in his short cameo.

Well I think this shows a lot about Stringer. Got the impression that Bamba was pretty poor today.

He really wasnt poor, dont know what our 'celebrity' commentator has been saying but Bamba was very good today, looks better than Davies IMO

Clearly there will be the odd mishap but he is dominant in the air and quite comfortable on the ball.

That's the impression I got too. Shame because I like listening to them but Stringer talks a lot of rubbish, sounds camp most of the time and goes 'it's in' when it's not, and Youngy is really biased. They are not a great duo for accurate analysis. But as I said, I still enjoy listening to them, they make it dramatic at the very least.

Nah, wasn't anything significant as such. Clearly making him sound a bit more shaky than he is. Also a slight overreaction by some posters in the match thread earlier. :D

It seems some supporters/pundits are always looking for the negative, unbeleivably there was a fair amount of people slating Yakubu in the stand today!!

Weale - 7.5 - Did what was required when called upon, particularly for Hume's one on one. Kicking was better, not too sure about the goal but didn't look like he had much chance

Bruno - 7.5 - Solid performance, did well against Humes pace for the most part and did ok getting forward

Hobbs - 7 - Played well I thought, nothing much to note though really

Bamba - 7.5 - A beast in the air but I understand the bombscare tag, he looks a little over eager and clumsy at times

Naughton - 7 - Quiet first half but got forward well second half, came close to a goal

Abe - 7 - average, did his job but didn't really do anything worth special merit

Wellens - 7.5 - Pretty standard Wellens. Industrious defending and drove forward well.

King - 6 - Not his day. Made little in the way of cutting runs and when he did late on, he bottled a brilliant chance to win it.

Dyer - 7 - Some good running but was frustrating, a lack of final product in my view. Missed one very good chance.

Yakubu - 8 - Impressed me. Casual at times, but played some very nice passes when holding and of course scored, look forward to more from the Yak

Gallagher - 8 - Very good today. Hit the bar twice with a great skill in both instances, really worked their defence when going forward with Bruno and some solid defensive work.

None of the subs made a contribtion worth noting.

Weale 8 - saved us a few times.

Naughton 7

Bamba 8 - controlled the defence, classy.

Hobbs 7

Berner 7

Abe 8 - bossed it. Hassled everyone, don't remember a misplaced pass.

Wellens 7

King 6 - very quiet, missed a great chance at the end.

Gallagher 8 - more of this please.

Yakubu 7 - looked alright, top finish.

Dyer 6.5

I have to listen to Radio Nottingham's coverage of Forest at work sometimes.

It's not great by any means but it absolutely shits on Stringer.

Stringer might sound camp but the Forest commentators sound like 70 year old retards.

Maybe, but they know when City are playing at DEEPDALE and not the WALKERS STADIUM, shame Stringer didn't yesterday.

They get basic stuff right, least you expect from a commentator.

I listened to it yesterday and I'm not sure that's what he meant. I think he was speaking in the future tense. As in there will be 'Premiership quality at the Walkers Stadium' or whatever he said.

I do agree though Stringer and Young get a lot wrong between them.

Stringer saying 'it's in' when it's not is annoying.

He also pisses me off when he says 'xxxxx must score', then they don't!

Yeah, what a bastard for trying to make a football game on the radio exciting... :dunno:
