Would of thought they would tell us who scored for Leicester.

Again, the official site are up to speed :frusty:

It was a behind-closed-doors friendly, so perhaps Hull didn't let any Leicester club staff enter lol

It is on the OS now.

Leicester City reserves put in a creditable performance to earn a 2-2 draw against Hull City reserves, in a behind closed doors friendly match in Hull. The Foxes went behind early, but great work from trialist, Fabian Brandy earned City a penalty, which Martyn Waghorn duly despatched to level things up before the break.

In the second-half, an incredible combination of one-two's for the length of the field between Waghorn and substitute, Jeff Schlupp, resulted in Schlupp firing home to put City 2-1 ahead.

Unfortunately for City, Hull fought back with a scrappy goal from a corner and despite Waghorn hitting the post late on, the Foxes were forced to settle for a draw.

Leicester City Goalkeeping Coach, Mike Stowell, who took charge of the team for the day, said: "It was a decent all-round performance from the lads. After going behind early, we got in to our stride and coped well with the opposition.

"We showed a superb attitude throughout and there is a good spirit evident within this group of players, which is pleasing to see. The lads will have benefitted, in terms of fitness and form, so it was a solid exercise for them."

Speaking exclusively to LCFC.COM, Stowell was impressed with the application of trialists Fabian Brandy and Erick Norales.

"Fabian was lively and it is clear that he has quality. He will have enjoyed the opportunity to get out there and taste some competitive action. Erick is a ball-playing centre-half, who coped very well, considering he jumped on a bus and joined his new teammates pretty much as soon as he arrived."

City: Logan, O'Neill, Norales, Parkes, Neilson, Teixeira, Moussa, Lamey, Brandy, Waghorn, Crncic.

Yet again, The Illusive Crncic makes an appearance.

Nice to see the fringe players get a run out, waggy had a fair contribution to the game by the sound of it. Would it not be worth applying or seeing if a reserve league would be feasible now ? Keep fringe players happy and the strong bench we would have match fit ?

I wonder how good that norales is

he went to the training ground on the bus so it's a yes from me. I hope he took his boots and towel in a couple of tesco carrier bags too

Schlupp looks like he may have some potential, i could do with being loaned out to get some first team experience.

Don't think Schlupp will be good enough for the first team yet, probably a loan to a League 2 or Blue Square team will be best, get him some actual playing time not just sitting on the bench at a League 1 side. Saying that though, he is still an academy player so there's no rush yet.

Well, I'm better than Junior Lewis
