Saxondale Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 Oh and, incidentally, Nigel Slater did an episode of his current show the other week based around weird combinations. Think he made an apple crumble with cheese in it. Or something equally weird.
fox123 Posted 5 November 2012 Author Posted 5 November 2012 Bacon and banana cookies - simply amazing!

Carl the Llama Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Crumpets and Nutella. You're welcome. ^^^^ Not in any way weird. Whatever blue-army-andy normally does with crumpets.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Sounds disgusting but I promise you they are immense, unhealthy as hell for you so it's a rare treat for me but when I do have them I'm all over them like tramp on chips
Jimothy Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Ham cooked in coca-cola serious omnomnomnom, my specialty every Christmas http://www.nigella.c...n-coca-cola-171 Tried it last year at my Mum's at Christmas and thought it was absolutely disgusting.
marko Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Bacon and fish finger sandwiches. That must be a sauce dilemma! See, I'm all about tomato on fish fingers sandwiches, but anything other than brown on bacon sandwiches is tantamount to sacrilege!
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Semi melted vanilla ice cream with cornflakes is good
Guest MattP Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 That must be a sauce dilemma! See, I'm all about tomato on fish fingers sandwiches, but anything other than brown on bacon sandwiches is tantamount to sacrilege! Either works ok!
Alexikokopops Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Crumpets and Nutella. You're welcome. Breakfast food with breakfast spread? Yeah, well weird...
Webbo Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Breakfast food with breakfast spread? Yeah, well weird... Yeah but he has it at teatime. How do you like them apples?!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Well perhaps I have lived a sheltered life but for me it was always crumpets and BUTTER. I wasn't dragged up. EDIT: +1 for Webbo for sticking up for me!
marko Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Well perhaps I have lived a sheltered life but for me it was always crumpets and BUTTER. I wasn't dragged up. It's Clover and not butter in our house. Does that mean I've been dragged up, or does there substitutability make me respectable?
Captain... Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 bananas and ready salted crisps sandwich. Try it, you'll love it.
Alexikokopops Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Well perhaps I have lived a sheltered life but for me it was always crumpets and BUTTER. I wasn't dragged up. EDIT: +1 for Webbo for sticking up for me! They also go well with peanut butter and Marmite
FoxesAreBlue Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 It's Clover and not butter in our house. Does that mean I've been dragged up, or does there substitutability make me respectable? Boarderline, based on your spread of choice I have no other option but to assume that you are from a "rough" family but have the clout about you to break free and become a fine, upstanding pillar of the community. It's up to you, don't let them drag you back.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 They also go well with peanut butter and Marmite Unfortunately, I detest both, I'll stick with Nutella
Guest Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Buckfast and vodka. I'd imagine that also goes well with the nearest recepticle to throw up into? As an aside, I found a Buckfast Lane biking round Manchester yesterday.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 6 November 2012 Posted 6 November 2012 They also go well with peanut butter and Marmite People should try spooning some peanut butter into a home made curry. Mix with some single cream, stock and curry powder. Jobs a goodun.
