fox123 Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 From Jamie Oliver... Go to the kitchen, break off a small lump of cheddar, drizzle honey over it then sprinkle some coffee over, fresh ground beans are best but works with instant. Come back and tell me it doesn't taste flipping lush. It really is nice. What concotions do you have?
Durnerz Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 From Jamie Oliver... It really is nice. What concotions do you have? I tried that the other day, quite simply brilliant. The thought of fish sauce in anything after copping a whiff of it is quite revolting yet it makes all thai food taste unbelievably good.
Unit Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 Brown sauce in tea. Might aswell just have a bovril!
Jackirius Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 A little bit of blackcurrant squash in your tea works wonders.
StanSP Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 Coke, Lemonade, Blackcurrant juice, pineapple juice, orange juice. Wasn't drunk, got bored and thought I'd throw a few drinks I had in the cupboard in together. Tasted very sweet! But was nice.
Wymsey Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 Coca-cola + 2 teaspoons of whisky - Cures my insomnia
Finnegan Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 Coca-cola + 2 teaspoons of whisky - Cures my insomnia .... that doesn't make any sense at all. You've heard of caffeine, right? The shot of whiskey on it's own would do far more for you!
BoneDog Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 One concoction that doesn't work is men who say lush. Sort ya'sen out Jamie.
jonthefox Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 coke and mentos mints. seriously pop a mint in a bottle and away ya go. As my lad will demonstrate. http://www.youtube.com/user/aconflump?feature=mhum#p/u/22/lx3yA_-4Dkw
Unabomber Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 Cottage cheese with crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam. Tastes absolutely amazing and a makes a great desert if you are trying to eat healthily. Baked sweet potato with peanut butter is also good.
Alexikokopops Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 I once had a camembert and home made kiwi jam baguette. Superb

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 I once had a camembert and home made kiwi jam baguette. Superb Snob! Some of us who read this thread will think Camembert is a french left winger.

Uncle Phil Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Vegetables in cakes, I.e Carrot cake, and there one with courgette. Beetroot squash and pumpkin are also supposed to be good. On the peanut butter theme, have it with apricot jam, lemon curd and salt and vinegar crisps. Tasty.
AoWW Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Chocolate cake made with Coke (of the cola variety!) - makes lovely moist chocolate sponge.
Captain... Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Well today I had curried veggies: courgette, carrot, onion and sweetcorn with coconut milk, cumin, garlic, chili, curry powder. With pasta and a chopped up packet of frnakfurter sausages. It was great, a kind of throw everything you have lying around meal. Another interesting concoction is like a rum slammer. Take a lemon slice, put coffee on one side and salt on the other bite it and suck it with the coffee on the bottom and salt on the top (I think it may be the other way round, it's hard to remember after a few of them) then take a shot of rum, preferable a high quality rum like cacique or flor de cana. Another odd one was a mexican way of drinking beer. Take a mexican beer like Sol or Corona pour it over ice, lemon juice, and secret mexican spices (chile, cinnamon, ginger or something again hard to remember after a few) in a glass that has salt around the rim.
