Matt Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Scunthorpe United 0 - 5 Leicester City. Playoffs back on... We're still awaiting to hammer someone, that everyone has said we've been due all season. Come on City.
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Now we can actually say it's a must win game and really mean it this time. Been saying ths for weeks now before every game...well this time, it's true!
Simmo86 Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Won't win 5-0 thats for sure. Will be a goal in it either way
Heskey2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Anyone got a spare pair of tickets for Sc*nthorpe today, just rang the ground and away allocations sold out. Can't believe it.
shailen Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Gotta play the pearson/ hull way if we want to win 5-0. I think hull scored 5 against them a few weeks back, and if we play our passing game we will lose 1-0 like swansea did. These results are the ones where we need to scrap and show some aggresion!
ScouseFox Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 On the train leaving Manc now, need a win if only to shut the moaners up. Going for 1-3, feeling optimistic about this one, although it won't be easy at all. We need to show more fight, especially on a dodgy pitch against a team fighting for their lives. Cmon City.
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Anyone got a spare pair of tickets for Sc*nthorpe today, just rang the ground and away allocations sold out. Can't believe it. Why?
vandamman Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 we will concede a crappy goal later on but I reckon we would've won the game by then, 3-1 sounds convincing. They have never beaten us, plus we d**ked all over them last season.
Sylvie85 Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 1-1 same as last season, pitch is awful, don't think we will cope with it.
LCFCmatt Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 We've got no chance of the play-offs. Why not play the youth team. Can't get relegated. Got nothing to lose
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 We've got no chance of the play-offs. Why not play the youth team. Can't get relegated. Got nothing to lose Still mathematically possible and while that's the case, there's always a chance.
LCFCmatt Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Still mathematically possible and while that's the case, there's always a chance. Still got forest and burnley coming up. Sven panics against big teams, plays 4-4-2, and we lose
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Still got forest and burnley coming up. Sven panics against big teams, plays 4-4-2, and we lose Have to wait and see, i'm not writing my team off until it's certain we can't get there.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 We Need to win 8/10 Games right? If we can win all our games apart from Forest & Burnley promotion is in the bag
Sylvie85 Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Let's just win every game and get 82 points. Then we might scrape a play off spot.
Thracian Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Scunthorpe United 0 - 5 Leicester City. Playoffs back on... We're still awaiting to hammer someone, that everyone has said we've been due all season. Come on City. Don't suppose you'd like to pick my lottery numbers as well, would you? We don't have the mentality to win 5-0 right now. I'm not sure we'll ever have it again to be honest. Even when we do win well it's almost by accident and circumstances rather than through calculated, unrestrained attack. Put that with factors like Scunthorpe's farm-field playing surface and their desperate need for points and I'd be delighted if we won at all. The best we expect is to score and hope we can hold out in our usual negative fashion second half. Anything else will be like the dawning of a new enlightened age.

Matt Posted 12 March 2011 Author Posted 12 March 2011 Urgh bloody hell another case of sarcasm/tounge in cheek wasted on people again! I wasn't being serious with a prediction of 0-5, bloody hell it's me FFS, some may say one of the pessimists of the board. Misunderstood yet again.
1991FOX Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 I have to say I do feel this defence is the first time in a while ive felt confident we can keep a cleansheet
