Not so much a disaster waiting to happen as one that has already happened and will continue to happen every time Bruma is on the pitch. I know some people claim he is a good player but we've failed to win in almost every single game in which he has started. Contrast that to us winning almost every single game before we signed him. He's ****ing crap, and Sven is a mug for accepting such a shit deal when our season was going so well. Get rid of the ****ing **** now and pay Chelsea whatever it takes imo.

But I think we need someone older and more experianced to partner him. Like we did when wayne brown was here. He new the division and was an old head. I'll be glad when Tunch is back!

A defence of NAUGHTON, BAMBA, BRUMA, PVA is just ridiculously inexperienced. Despite being the older head Bamba is still only 26 and is completely new to this league and English football. The other 3 are only kids, they obviously have talent but you just can't throw a unit together like this at the best of times, let alone when they're this inexperienced.

Least Vitor has to play against Burnley becasue of the red card. To be 3-1 up and draw is poor, and a goal from a corner was likely because simply we are poor from set pieces.

We were lucky to get a point in the end. can anyone explain why he got rid of morrisson and hobbs{on loan} because bamba and bruma are no better. sven must take the blame for chopping and changing the defence.if chelsea insist on playing there players then we should never have agreed to that contract .its just not good enough and hower defence is a joke.last season we had one of the best defences this season one of the worst.we are not good enough and changes need to be made in the summer

Yes, having big name forwards and people capable of changing the game will help you win this league, but you also need hard as nails fvcking angry guys who'll get stuck in with 10 to go holding on away at places like Middlesborough. Clint Hill, Shaun Derry, Paddy Kenny etc. at QPR have won them this league as much as Taarabt. Next season we need a combination of the two. We can have our Kings, Gallaghers, Yakubus etc. but we need a defence that won't go missing.

Edmund Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Too many loanees in our current back four. A solid defence is all about instinctively knowing and trusting the other players around you. I really hope we buy our own players next season.

I don't think i've heard anyone blame EVERY goal on Ricardo. Mainly it's Ricardo and the back 4 whether it be they cant communicate between them selves or just are not good enough. I don't think Ricardo is good enough for us and we can do much better with the huddersfield keeper (name escapes me now) or Westwood who I think would come to us next season as that way he will be playing football in the Prem rather than waiting on the sidelines at some yo-yo team like westbrom

He wasnt there to play football really, he was the organiser, the leader, and he was probably the biggest reason we only let in 45 goals in the whole season. Sven does have to take some blame for the defence being so bad. He needlessly got rid of Hobbs and brought in worse players to replace him and then messes about with the keeper and defensive selections. He'll probably bring Ricardo in next week and Mee into the middle next to Bamba when we all know it should be Vitor playing.
