Ilkeston_Fox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 we will be the qpr next year Why? Substantiate your comments... Why shouldn't we be? We'll have the financial backing, we have a good manager. We've got no idea what the squad will be next season. It's pretty certain we'll not be taking part in the p/o's this season. So why can't we look to next season and look to it with positivity?

I hope we are, but no-one is making a strong argument re. why on earth we should be? what are you basing this on? we have money this season, we have Sven (a good manager?) this season and we are being skinned at Reading. I'll accept we have a chance next season if you tell me why?

I'll accept we have a chance next season if you tell me why? Because a football games lasts 90 minutes. You can't plan a game down to each kick. We will win games that on paper we should lose, as we'll lose game where on paper we should win. We have just as much chance as anyone to make a good challenge of it next season. We'll have financial backing that other clubs won't have, "We've had that this season" I hear you say - not in a closed season we havent, let's see what kind of a team Sven can build when he's got a bit of time We might lose all the loanees come the end of the season, we might sign some. who knows. How about we wait and see?

You've made my point for me so thank-you.... how many pointless posts are made on here saying that we will be fantastic next season? how the fook can ANYONE predict that nonsense? especially looking at how we are now (ie Shit)
leicesterseddon Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 He's got to be given a summer transfer period before we can really judge. We were awful when he took over, after our nightmare start to the season finishing mid-table is not a bad record, even if we have wasted a lot, a lot of money. And what's the alternative anyway? Iain ****ing Dowie?

I've shown some optimism, nothing more nothing less. Seems even that is enough to start an arugment

AndyNorway Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Sack Sven, then bring in a new manager. Sack him if we dont make the play offs, and then sack the new manager if we loose a game during the pre season.

Adore Sven, because he's Sven.... be jubilant because we are going to romp next season and carry-on blaming Sousa. Don't analyse anything, just remain positive and optimistic...KEEP THE FAITH even when we are totally and utterly awful
Father Ted Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 OKAY THEN, MOUTHBREATHER. What the fcuk is a mouthbreather you knob? You know fcuk all about football apart from being able to name the Wales squad.
smudgerfox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Surely we can all agree that Sven has done well from where he started but there's no doubt he has shot himself in the foot - mostly over Bruma. His favouritism for Bruma is quite breathtaking - first dropping Vitor after two goals and a clean sheet and then Mee after he was our MOTM on Tuesday. What about the idea of a settled defence - what happened to that very simple footballing concept? And for all those Svenistas now saying it's all about next season - what exactly has he done to improve our prospects of promotion next season, this season? In match after match he's fielded teams based on loanees most of whom will leave. The existing squad haven't moved forward one jot (I suppose you cd make a case for Wellens and Gallagher) and the favoured players don't belong to us anyway.
FrankieADZ Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 I'd rather we have a settled squad instead of having all these loan players(Naughton apart) who dont cut it imo.

tylesta Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 right we was bottom when he took over , now sitting mid table i keep thinking if we hadnt have got so close to the play offs would this post have been made? col you keep saying it's svens team etc yes but teams aint made in 3 quarters of a season are they? some of your posts sound like we should be unbeatable, always play excellent every team as a off day (yes we have had a few) but i'll ask you one thing relegation battle???? or mid table?????
AndyNorway Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 why do you emphasise an English manager? An English manager will be given time to do a job. You know that, everyone does. Most people dont want Sven around, sack him now and bring in some old school manager who can go crazy if we loose a game. Some people are just so stupid, they seem to think that Sven dont care because he dont loose his mind and go crazy if we loose. Sack him!

Brown Fox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Don't like Dowie but would he have done worse than today? Are you taking the ****ing piss?
The Doctor Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Still very confused... are you all ostriches? This is now Sven's squad! Sousa left after what..8/9 matches? why on earth would Sven's players still be one-dimensional, unfit and negative? Shades of Holloways failings being blamed on Martin Allen all over again... One-dimensional and negative because this is still mostly pearson and sousa's squad - sven has struggled to bring much in because he's had the Jan window only, Unfit because if pre-season training isn't right and the squad is unfit you'll be paying for it all season long, it's very difficult to get fitness back up during a season. It's not svens squad, it's still sousas squad with sven trying to fix it up. What the fcuk is a mouthbreather you knob? You know fcuk all about football apart from being able to name the Wales squad. Someone too retarded to breathe through their nose, instead sat there, mouth open and breathing through all the drool dripping on your keyboard?
