Can it still be done? Yes it can.

No i cant see us beating anyone at the minute, so so inconsistent, hammering Burnley, then struggling to gain a point against a very poor palace side

We were never really going to get anything against a decent Reading side if truth be known, so those points dropped against Boro and palace are even more of a telling point

I hope Sven learns something after this, which i doubt,as you can never teach an old dog new tricks

Too many key decisions that he has made have gone wrong, most importantly....DONT CHANGE A WINNING SIDE,and this stems back from the away win at Derby.... thats when he started to tinker, just when we started to show some form.

Its all well and good saying it might have been different if things went right, but they didnt.

I personally hope Sven doesn't go in the summer, but that may all depend on whether the last 4 games fizzle out with a whimper, as i suspect they will.

The final nail in the coffin will be hammered in on Friday, if Forest beat us, and that depends on which Yak turns up, as at the moment, him and his strike force cronies are single handedly letting this opportunity slip away and are costing us more points than the defence are

I think some of the chances he has spurned in the last couple of game would be harder to miss than score.

personally i can not, we just look like we dont want it, so many times we have been poor this season and we keep dropping points againts teams we should be walking over, here is the list....

Crystal Palace V Leicester

3-2 Loss

Burnley V Leicester

3-0 Loss

Leicester V Sheff Utd

2-2

Watford V Leicester

3-2 Loss

and thats just a few,

if we had won them games we would of been been in the play-offs easy, so many small mistakes can be so costly!

why should burnley away have been a walk over?

edit: anyway, our play-off dream is as dead as last years cat.

well maybe that game not so much of a walk over but we shouldnt be losing 3-0.

No im afraid not, for me the past couple of weeks have been most fustrating not winning enough games when the teams around us are losing..We just have to look forward to next season with hopfully a team of permenant signings 1 or 2 loans is fine but not as many as this season.

If we had won all our games, we'd be champions.

Who'd have thought?!

Arrrgh! Why didn't anyone tell the players this!

Looking back over the last 5-6 games, it has been there for the taking. The only thing that makes me think even for a second that we might do it, is the fact that City always make it difficult for the themselves. we never seem to take the easy chance, no we leave it late and scrape in by the skin of our teeth. Getting 6th from here would be a shining example of that.

So we should not give up just yet. It is just possible that the teams around us have screwed up enough for us to make it through this poor run in time. Teams have been known to come out of poor runs you know. It does happen. It is a miracle that we are still in range. Maybe.. Just maybe...

There isn't a team in the universe that doesn't have the ' We should have beaten X,Y & Z ' syndrome. We will finish where deserve to finish, whether it be 6th or 10th.It's frustrating, but that's sport. :dunno:
