Haydos Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Youre expecting Leeds, Forest, Hull, Millwall and Burnley to ALL mess up over a period of 4 games to let us in. disabled Some are playing each other, it's perfectly reasonable. Do you know anything about this league.........disabled?
The Sven Revolution Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 I have watched or listened to every single game this season. We're on a bad run. Before we were on a good run. Before that, we were average. Form changes and it's possible it could happen again. Once again, I didn't state that we were going to do it, I stated that hypothetically if we won our remaining games we would probably sneak into 6th. Do I think we will? No. Do we have the quality to? Yes we have the team to do it IF they play the way they can do. It's unlikely and i'm sure we'll be playing championship football next season. But the unlikely happens in football. To name a few, Greece winning Euro 2004, Newcastle drawing 4-4 with Arsenal after being 4-0 down, and Leeds going from the champions league semi final to the 3rd division. As stated, very unlikely but if it is going to happen this post shows my thoughts on how we can do it. Brilliant. Thats what I feel, unlikely but many a unlikely things have happened..

Brown Fox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 I hope we dont make the PO's. We dont really deserve to, and it we could do with another season to build after so many ins and outs under Sven. Why do you support Leicester if you want us to lose?
LestaFox92 Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Should be behind them if were 1st or 24th simple as anything can happen so just wait and see.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Can it? Yes. Should it? No. I'd happily send most of the loanees home now and just play and develop our own players for next season. Of course, that would mean recalling most of them.
Jakemoore Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Mate we can't defend so how the hell are we gonna go and beat 4 teams!!! Get real. We're defensively shit.
Rich Fox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Mate we can't defend so how the hell are we gonna go and beat 4 teams!!! Get real. We're defensively shit. You are right and for me we dont have a decent keeper either. If we played with Vitor and bamba as centre backs and Naughton and Mee full backs we would be a lot more solid. Its a shame because I think 70 points would be enough for 6th this season but we wont get 3 wins and a draw with our current defence, he has to play our best players and not tinker or we might as well not bother.
Blanesta Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Youre expecting Leeds, Forest, Hull, Millwall and Burnley to ALL mess up over a period of 4 games to let us in. disabled you started promising, then you let yourself down with your witty "disabled" comment, which play school do you attend?
Messi Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Ive not given up the faith yet, as were still in with a chance. Although it is looking very, very unlikely. I am bored so have got gone on the BBC predictor. and the final table looked like this: QPR 96 Cardiff 87 ------------- Reading 84 Norwich 84 Swansea 82 Leicester 72 ------------- Burnley 70 Meaning we would get in last game of the season, Burnley losing to Cardiff on the last day. It is very unlikely, and we need a massive favour off the other teams slipping up but we are still in it as long as its mathematically possible. Keep The Faith!!
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 It can be done. We have to win 4 consecutive games. On paper it isn't the hardest run in either. Very unlikely, but still clinging on to that little bit of hope.

Messi Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Well out of Leeds last 4 games they have Reading, Burnley and QPR I think. So its a tough ask for them to continue the way they are and to gain many points.
Craig Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 If we win all four, we'll get in the playoffs due to the tough run-in's that the other sides face. However, we won't win all four.
Ashley Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 6th place will settled on the last day of the season. Us and a number of teams still to play for sixth spot. I've said we could always make it all along however I do now think its over. IF it does happen then fair enough.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We have to win every game remaining to do it. I have done the predictor, we pick up ten from twelve points and finished with this: 1. QPR 91 2. Norwich 82 -------------------- 3. Cardiff 81 4. Reading 80 5. Swansea 76 6. Forest 71 -------------------- 7. LCFC 70 8. Hull 69 9. Leeds 68 10. Burnley 68 11. Millwall 66 Thats us drawing with Forest and winning the other three. Forest picking up 8 from 12. (From us, Bristol away, Scunny at home, Palace away) Leeds picking up 3 from 12 (drawing away at home to Reading, drawing away to Palace, drawing at home to Burnley then losing at QPR) Hull picking up 6 points from 12 (drawing at home to Boro, drawing at QPR, beating Palace at home, and drawing at Bristol) Burnley picking up 8 from 15 (beating Boro at home, losing at Derby, beating Pompey at home, drawing at Leeds, drawing at home to Cardiff) Millwall picking up 5 points from 12 (drawing at home to PNE, winning at Scunny, drawing at home to Swansea, losing at Barnsley) So the Forest result on Friday could be massive as all the others have a hrad run in. Improbable, but not impossible to do it.
topharry123 Posted 17 April 2011 Author Posted 17 April 2011 Well out of Leeds last 4 games they have Reading, Burnley and QPR I think. So its a tough ask for them to continue the way they are and to gain many points. Leeds seem to have been on a downward spiral for a while and it only gets harder for them. I think they're going to get no more than 6 points, even that will be tough for them. It will come down to the last game of the season, there will probably be 2-3 teams that could get it on the last day. Just got to hope we can hit some form and do it. Unlikely but as someone else said when it's mathematicaly impossible that is when i'll concede defeat.
CupidStunt Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I think Burnley or Hull will sneak in apart from Forest away, we have the easiest run in on paper Think we will pick up another 5 points 7 max from now until the end of the season gutted really, it could have beenso much different, but even if we get into the playoff's which aint going to happen, look at the teams in it and the quality of football being played, I know the playoffs are one-off's, but come on
acooling08 Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I had the same thought. IF we can somehow sneak into 6th then I can't see us beating 3rd can you?
