lcfc22 Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We should have are attack as Schlupp and Waghorn who both have pace and an eye for goal who both want to do well and give there all and are not lazy. Also build Moussa into that team because it lacks pace and the only loanees i want to see back next season is Naughton and Mee.
cairnsy Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 **** the pace. All I want is goals and idk if either of them could be a 15-20 goal a season man.
Joe. Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 No, we need proven, tried and tested players in this division. But I'd like to think Waghorn and Hobbs will be a part of it all.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 If Schlupp becomes a regular, I give it 2 or 3 matches before the cynics come in and make him a scapegoat for any losses we encounter <_<
marko Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 If Schlupp becomes a regular, I give it 2 or 3 matches before the cynics come in and make him a scapegoat for any losses we encounter <_< 2 or 3 matches?! bit optimistic!!! I'd give it 45 minutes, 90 at most.

Schlupp isn't making the Brentford starting 11 now and Waghorn has just 4 goals to his name and isn't suited to our style of football under Sven.
Haydos Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We should have are attack as Schlupp and Waghorn who both have pace and an eye for goal who both want to do well and give there all and are not lazy. Seriously? Quality, we need quality.

So you want Sven to leave then? Cos if he stays, Waggy and Hobbs will be out of the door - maybe in the Premier League with Hull.. :sick
LCFCmatt Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We need to bring back Kermorgant. He'll score loads next season.
accessory Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We need to bring back Kermorgant. He'll score loads next season. Kermo couldn't do much worse than Vassell or Howard this year... Seriously though, he'll never come back - he'll return to lower-league obscurity somewhere in France.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 So you want Sven to leave then? Cos if he stays, Waggy and Hobbs will be out of the door - maybe in the Premier League with Hull.. :sick I have no idea what goes through your head when you think of some of your absurd questions. How does wanting Waghorn and Hobbs back in the team automatically translate in to Sven leaving? Yeah they might not be in his plans right now, but I'm not ruling out them 2 playing, especially with Mee, Bruma and Vitor heading back to their parent clubs, and Vassell's contract running out, as well as Kamara and Yakubu also returning to Fulham and Everton respectively. And if Sven fails in the market for desired players, he'll have to play them simply due to the fact that there'd be no-one better to fill those positions (more so Hobbs than Waghorn cos we have plenty of strikers. Hull in the Premier League next season? Give me a break.
Bugg Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We need to bring back Kermorgant. He'll score loads next season. You might be joking, but he'd fit into our system so much next season. But he'll never get a chance here cause he'll be booed before he even kicks a ball.
accessory Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 How does wanting Waghorn and Hobbs back in the team automatically translate in to Sven leaving? Because Sven has made it very clear that they do not figure in his plans. He clearly thinks that Mee and/or Bruma would do a better job in defence than Hobbs, although results and performances haven't exactly proved this. Or he could simply let them leave, as he did with Fryatt. Waghorn hasn't started a first-team game since mid-November, while unfit strikers (Bednar), out of form ones (Vassell) or lazy ones (Yakubu) have been indulged at every opportunity. How big to you want the writing on the wall to be? Hull in the Premier League next season? Give me a break. Right now they're far more likely to get there than we are. Maybe Sven should have trusted Hobbs and Fryatt a bit more...

But he'll never get a chance here cause he'll be booed before he even kicks a ball. Even apart from THAT spot-kick at Cardiff (which actually should have been retaken anyway), his strike rate was dismal - one goal in 20+ games? No wonder the fans wouldn't trust him. But he was Pearson's signing not Sven's so there'd be no reason to bring him back.

Who's to say that Hobbs wouldn't have made the same mistakes? It's more likely they'll be sold given the fact that Hobbs has gone on loan and Waghorn not playing much; HOWEVER, I wouldn't rule out them staying. Fryatt's gone. Couldn't care less. 'Far more likely'?! For a few weeks now we've been level on points and GD with them, and it was only at the weekend that they've gone 3 points clear. Yes, ONLY THREE points. How does that equate to 'far more likely'?
Kenners Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Maybe Sven should have trusted Hobbs and Fryatt a bit more...
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Anyone who thinks we'd be better with Waghorn as our main striker than Yakubu should just fvck off.
Bugg Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Anyone who thinks we'd be better with Waghorn as our main striker than Yakubu should just fvck off. Where's your Yakubu sig gone? I miss it
accessory Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Would they have done any worse than Bruma or Yakubu?
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Where's your Yakubu sig gone? I miss it I'll bring it back when he bags against Forest

ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Ok, supposing we all do one. How is the Walkers going to look at the next home game when only 5000 people turn up? Much better
MC Prussian Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 We need to give accessory, col city fan, acooling & company their own football club to run - preferrably somewhere on the outskirts of Leicester. How about you take over Coventry City and start anew?
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Would they have done any worse than Bruma or Yakubu? Yakubu's 1 in 2.2 with 5 assists compared to Fryatt's 1 in 6 rate without an assist to his name for us suggest Yakubu might be a bit better
