shade Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 pessimistically I would take the play offs, I don't want to but I am almost certain we won't be top 6.
Stevosevic Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 It's always tough with teams appearing strong in pre-season. Some of the favourites won't do well, some less fancied will do well, same as every year.
Number 6 Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Yes, mostly due to the league looking very tough next season. Having said that I think anything lower than 6th next season should certainly be seen as an underachievement.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Top 2 because when we were got play offs last season...the gate numbers wern't that high...if we're winning enough to be in the top 2 consistantly gate numbers will be higher and it'd be great to see 27,000+ at the walkers every week!
sven-your-smiling Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 if we go up through th play offs yes, but if we didnt no. also i thinking going up would be more enjoyable with the winning game at wembely. this season was abit of an anti-climax
lcfc_jme Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Whilst we are favourites to go up at the minute (only on Skybet, the rest of the market haven't released anything to the best of my knowledge), people seem to be forgetting that a) the relegated Premiership sides haven't been included in the market and b) this seasons' beaten playoff sides aren't included, either. Nor has it factored in pre-season or any signings made, obviously. That considered, we should be aiming to the playoffs at a minimum; if we finished in them it'd be fine as we'd still stand to achieve our aims of promotion.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 I'd take PO's right now. There will be a lot og decent teams in this league next season, the three that come down should be good, us, Hull, Middlesbrough, the losing playoff teams this season, Brighton and Southampton have the momentum as well. Will be a very dificult season.
Leicester Lass Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 No, but only because the play-off dates would coincide with my finals at Uni.
