nuttytimmy Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 No-one that I know of, but Burrda have hardly pushed the boat out. Our first Burrda kit was almost an exact copy of the Joma 125 kit that preceeded it, and the home kit this season is just a blue top with a collar and a little detail on the sleeve. The away kit is an exact copy but has reversed colours. Don't get me wrong I think the kits are ok and I will probably get the away kit at some stage, but as I said bespoke isn't really the word. There is very little in terms of design on our kits and I really don't buy into this "Adidas only do templates, I'd rather we had our own kit from Burrda" bandwagon. Fair enough I suppose. As for last year's kit being a copy of the 125 shirt, it was supposed to be! We had taken out a 2-year deal with Joma, only to ditch them after a season. Burrda then came in and designed a 'new' home kit that only changes minor aspects in order to appease copyright over the design, but not so much as to make it a totally new kit that would be marketed and sold as such. It was, frankly, a bit of a mess and I think many people were frustrated that the 'new' shirt was essentially the same, but of poorer quality, than the Joma kit.
thewarmanator Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Fab, thankyou, would appreciate that, i bought my lads them on the first day too, so fingers crossed. Cheers pal Taken back without an argument! it looks like the printing is now of better quality on them as well
Kent Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 I noticed on a close up in the interview with Matt Mills the badge on his training shirt was bad too. Looked like the same problem a few others have had where the white border is no where near even. I'll get one but I'll be cherry picking in the store.
red5 Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 I took mine back but they never had another the same size, so they're sending one to me, should have them in on Monday. Mine peeled on the first wash, defo a faulty/poor quality shirt, Bring back **Fox Leisure**
foxyfoxy Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 Taken back without an argument! it looks like the printing is now of better quality on them as well Thanks so much for letting me know, I will go in to the store before Real Madrid match...cant get in to Leicester until then. Jace Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 my home shirt arrived today well gutted with it tbh the sizing is really bad and the quality is really cheap, when i first looked at it i thought the design was really good but as soon as i tried it on the collar was really wide but the sleaves were really short and the shirt was too baggy. The stitching on mine was fine but the material is really poor really transparent and the bits on the end of the arms and the collar really doesnt feel right, gutted as its my bday present really hope the manufacter changes next year i would be pissed if i was a championship footballer wearing it

Jus' sayin'
Jace Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 They're replicas, they don't wear the same shirts as the fans. Jus' sayin' fair point, would hope the match day shirts are much better quality and fit shame cos the designs great just cheaply made
Haydos Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 fair point, would hope the match day shirts are much better quality and fit shame cos the designs great just cheaply made I'm sure they are. It is disappointing to hear about the amount of bad quality shirts being shipped out though.

LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Not arguing... get your point. your mum does your washing....says it all. I have read this forum for a long time and sometimes it seems that some people are just out for an argument. I know the situ with the shirts and am just trying to advise others before they spend £30-£40 pounds of their money. All I wanted was to speak to other in an adult manner to see if they had the same problem, and have been communicated with some very helpful members. All you are doing is telling us that we wash them wrong....when you dont even do own washing....hmmmm what that a 15 year old lads mum does his washing
Christoph Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 20 year old here. My mum still does my washing and makes my dinner. :sge:
Jace Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 ive shown my gf the pics on this thread to warn her of the dangers of washing my shirt wrong
HEGGSY Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 ive shown my gf the pics on this thread to warn her of the dangers of washing my shirt wrong That's right get show the girlfriend her next job Hahah

Jace Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 That's right get show the girlfriend her next job Hahah im sure ill think of something
foxyfoxy Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 what that a 15 year old lads mum does his washing No....my point was that you were very adament saying that people with shirt problems were washing them wrong if you read back......im not saying it is wrong for anyone to help others with any tasks.....but dont mislead people by stating that "we wash the shirts at the wrong temperature". I would do anything for my children, as im sure your mum does for you, and i respect that. But please think twice before you litter a post with inaccurate, pushy advice that is wrong - assuming that all others are wrong and dumber than you...all i wanted to do was to speak to others who had bought new shirts to see if they had any problems.....and i have spoken to some great people who have reassured me massively. It turns out that my sons shirts were out of the first batch that were poor quality, so i am hoping to exchange them / or get the King power logos redone at the Real Madrid game.
RAFRUDY Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 The logo on my shirt wasn't even straight to begin with and is now peeling off and has cracked in places. Can I still take it back if I have lost my receipt? I think it is in the bin, because at first it fitted so I didnt think that I would need it. How wrong was I!!!!!!
HEGGSY Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 My burrda logo is starting to come off, however I have had my name and number on the back I do have the reciept so can I still take it back?

Well I looked on a letter they sent along with my shirt and said no shirts can be refunded which is printed but its your right and your the customer so just take it back
HEGGSY Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 Well I looked on a letter they sent along with my shirt and said no shirts can be refunded which is printed but its your right and your the customer so just take it back Thanks ,as you said its not my fault the quality is poor
Matt Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Well, I'd had no problems with my shirt, although did state when I got it, it wasn't the greatest quality of material (Compared to past year), they feel thin, e.t.c, but I have washed my a few times and had no problems, until today. I noticed the Burrda logo is peeling off, spose i'll be taking it back then. Might just say give me my money back (If they will, bearing in mind I bought when they first came out, and they might say I had to return within a certain amount of time, after that time it has to be a swap/voucher) as I can't see the shirts being much better seeing the amount of people on here regards comments on quality/problems with theirs.
Kent Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I went in today and after hearing about the white border round the logo not being even I looked through about 5 or 6 before picking the one I wanted. The problem is still there, I probably could have looked through the whole rack and found a perfect one but the one I got is fine. Just worried about using/washing it too much now.
phillthefox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Having been down today to look at the new away shirt, which is very nice, but still the same problems all the burda logos are on the piss and the badges are all different, to which i told the peopl ein the shop and they said they will be getting new stock in soon, but i feel they will be just as shit, and still undecided if i can justify another £40 for a shirt that will fall apart
