lcfcadam Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 This kind of stadium atmosphere must be precisely what clubs and the FA are trying to work towards in English club football - exclusively women and children with lots of screaming and polite applause.
purpleronnie Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 This kind of stadium atmosphere must be precisely what clubs and the FA are trying to work towards in English club football - exclusively women and children with lots of screaming and polite applause. Bit like the city ground.
IronHidez Posted 9 July 2011 Author Posted 9 July 2011 Looks like its going to extra time. Oh well more drama
Guest MattP Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Just turned over after the cricket, it's really awful.
accessory Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 England were struggling for stamina even in normal time. Now we're down to 10 fit players, it's not looking good..
FoxyPV Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 It was a peach of a goal to equalise. I loved the keeper's half dive after the ball had beaten her Looks like a French victory.
ScouseFox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 England's keeper is a complete loon. She's good though.
ScouseFox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Off target with the last two penalties. Proper English.
Guest MattP Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Pathetic to be honest the last two, to scuff two off target with this standard of keeping is criminal. Why do we buckle under pressure when so many other nations thrive on it?
Collymore Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 "what not to do if you're a keeper trying to save a penalty" I've never seen such poor keeping, especially from the England keeper. They don't dive, they just start running across the goal giving the striker about 5 minutes to pick their spot!
accessory Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Did the England team even prepare for penalty shootouts? It's sod's law there was always likely to be one somewhere along the line..
