Tough start on paper, but to have conceded 3 in both shows where they're problem lies and the fact they need to sort that out, quickly. yep Maynard for me, or so my husband tells me anyway

Would find it hard to understand if we were to lose out for him after we made so much of a play for him. We should up the ante first thing tomorrow imo and put another offer in for him with Waghorn who needs a fresh start elsewhere as part of the bid.

We should up the ante first thing tomorrow imo and put another offer in for him with Waghorn who needs a fresh start elsewhere as part of the bid. i would be very surprised if we didn't put in a fresh bid. still think we should have a pop at yakubu too though. just a guess, but i reckon sven will look at bringing a loan striker like yakubu in as a last resort if we cant get maynard in on a permanent (shlong and keane would have also been on that list or permanent acquisitions). having said that im still not sure on the situation surrounding his wages. anyone care to jog my memory?

Me too, think he would give us all a lift if he came to Leicester, might be the missing piece of the jigsaw so to speak?

Were missing out on names which are hard to get, like I said in the past there are some strikers which would be easier to get. Also I really like the look of Rhodes from Huddersfield and Baldock from MK Dons. Or move to the SPL, Jelavic, Stokes, Hooper, Murphy. Derby brought that Maguire from the SPL, his a top talent and has already scored for them.
