Surprised nobody has mentioned the cup quarter final against Wycombe !

I would have done but I didn't go to that game ;)

best was seeing us beat Derby 4-0 at Pride Park and watching the home fans leave shortly after half time  :D

Though that game is a close tie with the one when we beat Crystal Palace at away in the semi final of the worthington cup... think it was Simon Grayson who headed in the winner, then we went on to beat Spurs at a replay after a draw at Wembley.. I can't remember where the rematch was held, it might have been at Sheffield Wednesday's ground.

worst was seeing us get robbed by Swindon in the play off final at Wembley.

Best:

Derby in '97 - away 4-0

Man United in '96 or '97 - away 1-0

Cambridge in '92 - home 5-0

Tranmere in '92 - home 1-0 - Rooster in injury time after missing an identical chance 30 seconds earlier.

Leeds in '89/'90 - home 4-3 - 2-0 down at half time Gary McAllister diving in 2 footed for a 90th minute winner.

Worst:

Bolton in '01 - home 0-5

Sheff. United in '89/'90 - home 2-6

Newcastle in '92 - home 1-2

Sheff. Wed in '92/'93 - away 1-7

Notts County in '93 - away 1-4

Best game? Has to be 2-1 Play-off final against the sheep! Love rubbing that one in to the Sheep supporters that I have the unfortunate pleasure of working with!!

Worst game? Too many to mention. Probably losing 5-4 at Newcastle (think it was 1990) when we had Gary Mac and Kevin Campbell playing for us. We were 4-2 up with 10 mins to go and guess who scored the winner? Mark McGhee! Or losing 4-3 against Swindon in the Play-off final when we had come back from 3-0 down only to lose to another dodgy penalty

Well to tell you the truth i started going football when i was about 6.... then stopped then started again... i like kinda stopped playing and likeing football for a while but now i am football mad again... and i cant really recall any of the matches before... but i remember i went to some of the games when akbinbadbuy played.... soo i aint to sure what i can remember bt i think....

Best Game - Arsenal 1-1 Leicester : Ashley Cole got sent off and we scored a really late equaliser... the crowd took the roof off of the walers... who scored it ... craig hignett? not to sure... but the journey home was amazin...

Worst Game - Aston Villa 5 - 0 Leicester : OMGosh ... this game... it was like every goal was a stab in the heart... i hated that game i think i went half hour early... all the fans chucking things onto the pitch etc... i have never seen people so angry as the bloke sitting next to me... i think this was the game when walker got sent off from hand balling it about on the halfway line... the bloke went ape ... was like  didnt know where to put ma eyes lol

I hope next season we can prove to be the side we was when oneil was in charge... and i can see o'neil in levein... he has the same way that o'neil started... getting young rejects and building them together like he did with savage, izzet, lennon and guppy + the rest of um :P ... its what levein looks like he is doing :P

Best has to be the Arsenal game...what a comback and we also saw the class of Dennis Bergkamp.

Worst has to be the Bolton game when we lost 5-0. One of the worst ever performances from any Leicester side and it only got worse as the season wemt on. it was worse because Peter Taylor just stood there and watched. He never recoverd from that loss against Wycombe the season before. Good coach, but not a great manager!

The best have to be a toss up between the 3 Wembeley wins (derby, Palace and Tranmere)

The worst for me was probably in the 95/95 season when we played Pompey as we beat them 4-2 and I missed 2 of Roberts goal by going to the toilet

2-1 FA cup victory against Charlton ( as i dont go to that many games and im young)

0-1 Sunderland last season. Got them first place defo  And 3 of my mates rly took the piss  Plus it was quite boring, and Pressmans error .Grrrr.

Tough one, we have had some right crackers over the years although did enjoy the 4-0 thrashing at leeds in premiership couple of seasons ago! Same season we lost to Villa 5-0, was painfull

So many of both ... of those mentioned Cambridge definitely stands out, but especially as we'd lost there 5-1 earlier in the season, and [John] Beck was supposed to be the bees' knees - well we put him on his! And Stevey Claridge v C. Pal and Drabby, both play off finals!

Swindon play off, 3-0 down, it was brilliant! I mean fantastic! when we got back to 3-3! Hoddle was on a promise, we thought? Very dodgy penalty won it.

Otherwise, one's I didn't notice above ... Good games: Losing 1-6 at Hillsborough! The atmosphere in the Leppings Lane end was fantastic despite the thumping, and the noise when we finally scored!

At least half the games Weller played in .. likewise Lenny Glover. There was one goal against Luton [top flight then] from the halfway.

Doing Pompey away, play off semi before Swindon final with a team of donkeys doing the sublime favourites, Sticks Ormondroyd somehow scoring the winner.

Rooster Russell scoring the winner at Blackburn, one on one with the goalie who didn't know how to save it 'cos Rooster didn't know what he was going to do either.

Charlton away late sixties I think, 5-0 win.

Athletico Madrid, for the whole week of atmosphere over there.

W.B.A. away win, we only had ten men. ...... just so many, so sweet!

Bad: home to B'ham in the snow, Kenny Burns scored their sixth! And won a stuffing car.

1961 F.A. Cup final [telly, black & white] matched Nicholson's Spurs against the odds and with [Chalmers] playing out on the wing as a passenger [no subs. then] - he'd been crocked and we were robbed! The injustice made me angry.

... and could we win at Upton Park? W. Ham nor Charlton!

1969 Final, Andy Lockhead missed a sitter to level it, desperately wanted to do our bogey Man. City that day.

many, many dreary or crap performances, drenchings, freezing on terraces, but the bad times you HAVE to go through to get the REAL highs!

............. I'm boring you, I'll stop.

Best imo for me was when we beat Leeds 4:3 after being 2:0 down, some years ago now though!! we had a young striker on loan by name of campbell !! Worst has got to be that dreadful wolves debacle, enough said!!

Best: Leicester 5-2 Sunderland

We all thought everything was coming together. A solid back three, one of the most competitive midfields in the Premiership, along with a frightening striking duo. We all know what happened afterwards. :(

Worst: Leicester 1-2 Wycombe

The start of our downfall. A potential FA Cup Semi-Final with Liverpool was missed after such an abject performance. It took me weeks to recover from that defeat.

For a brief, fleeting moment, we saw the future, and it was the Champions League... and then it was all gone.

That's as good as it'll get for a while. ;)

Best game, theres so many to choose from. i really enjoyed leeds here in 89, we were 0-2 down at half time pulled it back to 2-2, then strachan scored a cheeky pen, then i think (rambo) ramsey made it 3-3 and gary mac pounced for a 4-3 winner with 5mins to go. I just remember going balistic with happy emotions and hugging complete strangers in pen 3 as if they were family (they were).

portsmouth away jan 1st 1990, again 0-2 down and we won 3-2.

worst game, quite a few last season, i remember a simod cup game against wolves infront of sky`s cameras before they we known...bull scored the winner 1-0 but it was cold raining we played with colds and pleat (OUT) was in charge, need i say more...the infamous sheff uts game with anti martin oneil chants was poor too. i remember mustafa izzet coming on as sub and when he was annouced, the whole ground seemed to say at once `whos he?` followed by serious moans, you know things are bad then.

Same as Lisa. Cambridge play off semi 1991/2 season. Only my 3rd ever game at Filbert st. so my 6th City game. That confirmed that my lefe would be devoted to LCFC.

Palace play off final was also special as well as the MON don't go v's Spurs. The much mentioned Arsenal 3-3 game was special.
