floppus Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 My ST has been here since Thursday but I'm still waiting for my car park (Main Stadium) ticket to arrive. It came after the st's last year but the year before it hadn't come by the first game and I was handed it at the gate in an envelope with my name on it. I don't quite understand the problem as they seem to be knocked up in house and hand laminated without any unique personalisation. Still no need to panic too much I've got my payment receipt so I'll get in with that (even if I have to run someone over at the gate).

Last week against Real Madrid the tickets seemed to have barcodes on (or are they always like this? ) so I was expecting the club to have installed automatic turnstiles (ala Coventry City), so I turned up to the ground, my mind set on it, when a steward was sat down and asked for my ticket. With the season ticket looking how it is, are we having different turnstiles? (This may have just been me experiencing a problem, it is late at night) My dad and sister both got two of the exact same cards, in different envelopes. Same names, seat number, reference number etc, anyone else had this? Yes, I got this. I got two exactly the same in different packets.
Narborough Bod Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Interesting to see how this works out. With it being a linear barcode rather than 2d, not sure whether the turnstyles will be able to highlight a duplicate scan. Next week could be interesting.

I know they are sending out in batches but saturday is drawing nearer by the second. I can't believe they have left it so late to post out such an important product. Let's admit it the season's already started yet there are people like myself that are still waiting. I have tried 7 times to get through to them on the phone, but I just get put on hold- I live in kettering so it's not that easy for me to call into the office. I suppose in my case it's just a stressful waiting game.

Mine hasn't arrived yet either - just hope it arrives by tomorrow because if it's wrong, Tuesday is the only day I can head to the ground before Saturday. Grrrr!!
