Callabinho Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 This may see a bit pointless, but I have just watched the Matt Mills interview and he mentioned that Leicester fans on various forums commented on their desire for the deal to come true, I wonder if he or any other players look for fans forums to see what the initial reaction is prior to their arrival? If that's the case then every one on here declare their love for Keano!!

But yeah they probably do, and with Twitter and that as well they'll know what the fans think of them etc, whether it be good or bad.

It makes me wonder when I write stuff whether I actually have an impact on a player's morale etc. For example my blog article on Weale discussing his usefulness on the bench, rather than on the pitch. Maybe I am to blame for his lack of confidence in handling, long shots, or general communication. I suppose it's one thing to shout as an individual during a match some (I won't call it abuse) words of encouragement or useful advice, than slate them or pick them apart on the internet. That's permanent (usually), and can be mulled over on their phone or at home with much more impact.

I usually share my opinions on here for example or 606 when it was about, and then summarise over the bloggins. It's still the same thing. Pulling a player apart or boosting morale. Pretty sure those who use twitter will have had a sneaky peek over on FT. Players like Wellens or Bruno will be unlikely to in my view. They don't seem be those kind of players.

Pros blatantly browse their club's forums all the time, it's only natural to wonder what the fans think about you in detail. Plus just think of all the free time they have - and they can't fill theirs with boozing like we do.
