21st Century Fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I personally wouldn't read his autobiography but some of it sounds pretty interesting... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/aug/15/walcott-criticises-capello-book There is a description of Capello "yelling and chucking something" at Emile Heskey after the forward was caught texting on his mobile at a team dinner
ajthefox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 It really does annoy me that so many famous people write autobiographies at such a young age. He's barely lived a third of the average male life expectancy. Can't imagine it will be a particularly good read either anyway.

Plus in his third of a life he has experienced more than most do in an entire lifetime
Dr The Singh Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 He's hardly had a normal life tho has he ? Plus in his third of a life he has experienced more than most do in an entire lifetime Well most on this forum, for one he has lost his virginity, I certainly want to read about how he did that!!
RowlattsFox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Is it clever to be releasing a book which slags off the current England boss, when you're hoping to go to a European Championship this summer? Could at least wait til after the summer.
Suffolk_fox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 He's hardly had a normal life tho has he ? Plus in his third of a life he has experienced more than most do in an entire lifetime Most people who write an autobiography haven't had a normal life... but the ones who aren't just money grabbers at least wait until they have got older before they write their autobiog...
Alexikokopops Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 He's hardly had a normal life tho has he ? Plus in his third of a life he has experienced more than most do in an entire lifetime No more so than other famous sports people who manage to get away with just the one autobiography. I'm not eagerly anticipating volume 1, let alone the inevitable volumes 2, 3, 4 etc. every few years. Mind you, if I were in his position I'd probably milk it as much as possible too.
AyewJoking Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 He probably had it done whilst he was out injured and bored. Walcott is the most over-rated player in the Premiership. If it werent for his pace he'd still be at Southampton.
Guest MattP Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Well I'm reading Steven Alders book at the minute about being a rock star, having sex with groups of girls every night, most of the time not knowing what year it is and trying to live that lifestyle on heroin for 25 years..... So what's Walcotts gonna be like?

So what's Walcotts gonna be like? Remarkably similar

So what's Walcotts gonna be like? Theo Walcott once snorted a line of ants and inserted a live fish into a groupies vagina. FACT.
Rincewind Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Well considering a footballers career could end 30-40 he might be best to do it now. It's alot more likely to find a publisher than if he waits till he's older and includes the other two thirds of his life working as a postman. Unless he makes it as a successful manager and then England manager. He'd be OK for follow up volumes then. Not by a rich overpaid goldigger footballer
Durnerz Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 The most pointless book since 'how to learn french' was translated into french.
