Zingari Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 With less a month to go for the 10th anniversary of the 911 attacks there still seems to be a great many people who disbelieve the official version of events , due to the inconsistencies of the official version of events and the known facts and visual evidence freely available . Please watch this short video about WTC 7 collapse to see if you agree with the official version , or the conspiracy theorist claim of a controlled demolition. If you think that there was a controlled demolition, then you must accept that the US government has lied to the people about the events of that day, and you must ask yourself for what purpose. If WTC 7 was indeed a controlled demolition , then we really ought to be considering the very real possibility that WTC 1 and 2 were also brought down by well placed explosives and from there , we must also face the very real possibility that the whole version of events was a great big lie . I have posted the youtube video , but there is much more info at the architects and engineers site , if you want deeper explanation of the impossibility of WTC7 collapsing due to damage and fire . here http://www.ae911truth.org/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZEvA8BCoBw&feature=player_embedded
somebum Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 There are many things that do not add up about the official version of events. I spent a good 2-3 years getting heavily into this kind of stuff but eventually I gave up trying to figure it all out. Interesting stuff though.
Nocturnal Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Interesting watch, certainly makes me lean to the conspiracy side of it all. I doubt we will ever find out the truth however.
jonthefox Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Just veering slightly off topic here, but ive always believed in some sort of conspiracy with this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsWZHKIg3Cs. As for wtc7,you can clearly hear an explosion. The official line was fires led to its downfall, however video evidence clearly shows less than 1 floor on fire.
Zingari Posted 21 August 2011 Author Posted 21 August 2011 sorry Jon , i can't see the video that you posted for some reason , could you post a link please ?
Raw Dykes Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 It's a load of old bollocks. Let's just say it was a conspiracy. How the hell are you meant to keep something like that a secret for a whole decade? You're giving the U.S. government far too much credit. George Bush Jr. and his mates were certainly not capable of pulling off something so huge-scale and intricate without it becoming public knowledge. Have you any idea how many people would have to be involved in something like this? Each and every one of them would have to be sworn to secrecy and have to make no errors in order to stop it being leaked. Most people who want to believe this conspiracy rubbish just want to feel safe. They want to know that the people in charge of their country won't let anything bad happen to them, and don't like to face up to the fact that there are real foreign threats. Just ask yourself, what's more likely - a bunch of religious fanatics hijack a plane and fly it into a building, believing they're the good guys and they go straight to heaven, or an inept bunch of politicians secretly plot and create a disaster killing thousands in probably the most densely populated city in their own country, and no-one finds out in the following 10 whole years? Even if they did want to create the illusion that muslim terrorists have attacked the U.S.A. on their own soil, why on Earth would they have to kill anyone? They could have made it look like they foiled a bombing attempt, or flew the planes just past a building killing no-one and destroying nothing, and still had exactly the same excuse they supposedly wanted to go to war in the middle east. The more boring answer is usually the correct one.

You've obviously not watched the video as no one flew planes into WTC7 , (that's the point of my thread) , the building is supposed to have collapsed due to fire only , and no steel structured building has ever collapsed due to fire.
Zingari Posted 21 August 2011 Author Posted 21 August 2011 Where's El Empty??? i was hoping to tempt him ( and zubi etc) out to play for a while as it's been far too quiet in general chat

In that case, you would support an Independent Investigation, to prove your point. Too many experts, don't agree with you. If there is nothing to hide, then the American government should demand one, to prove them right. Something tells me, they wont allow one.
Rincewind Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 I also agree that it would be very difficult to organize and succeed at There would be at least one person that would blow the whistle and to prevent this they would have to be 'silenced' Do you think that the number involve there would not be one person that would have a trang of conscience? Have friends or relatives that died in the TC/ Americans love conspiricy theries. Some people will go to any length to create one. There would be much simpler ways convince the American people that a terrorist attack had taken place. Why spend millions of dollars and cause the deaths of thousands when the American people would accept something less costly and no fatalities to any citizen of the good old USA. Scenario.: The CIA infutate an anti-American group in America help them plan an attack on some US army base. Without telling the group they replace the detonators with dummys. When the terrorists attack the army base the army is ready and kills all the terrorists. The president puts out a statement to say that an attack on the army base was foiled, they have suspicians who was involved but it may take several years to identify all those involved. They can then put the odd story that certain individuals were known to have gone to Lybian training camps. This will keep the good old USA populace happy happy in the knowledge that they are the best at kicking ass. They can then carry on waving their flags.
Rincewind Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 Before jumping on the conspiracy bandwagon I would like to see evidence from experts on the other POV. There are 628,000 websites and 3000 books relating to one conspiracy or another. see here
Zingari Posted 22 August 2011 Author Posted 22 August 2011 Try and disassociate yourself from the other events of 911. If this was an ordinary building on a normal day in another part of the world that had caught fire in the manner you can quite clearly see, and add to that all the ear/eyewitness testimonies, would you; A, believe that the building had collapsed due to fire and random structural damage? B, believe that the collapse was due to controlled demolition? Are the other events of the day and the implications of option B clouding reasonable judgement? I am convinced it is.
Rincewind Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 If the US government were to hold a public inquiry which of the 638,000 conspiracy theries would they investigate first? Would they have time/ An average of two years for each claim taht is a total of 1,276,000 years to conclude the investigation. At the end would they remember what they were investigating and who would be accountable if one is proved correct.. I doubt if GWB would be around. Because of the vass number of therories and books on the subject it is difficult to say one has more substance than another. I seem to recall a thread being started before on here. Similar sort of thing. I have no doubt that there are many experts that will find flaws in the conspiracy therory here. I think they should be seen too. Some people are so eager to believe in a conspiracy therory that they dismiss out of hand official reports.
ozleicester Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 Politicians, if their lips are moving, they are lying.

AndyElZorro Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I was there and lost two friends. There was no fecking conspiracy!
Zingari Posted 22 August 2011 Author Posted 22 August 2011 I was there and lost two friends. There was no fecking conspiracy! sorry about that but all these people lost family and friends and they believe there was ;( or they believe the investigation was flawed) http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20041026093059633 edit; if you'd have watched the video you would have known that many of the families who are calling for a new investigation

As eager as some admittedly are in believing in a 'grand scheme' (probably the same nutters who claim to have been abducted by aliens etc etc), there's a far far larger group that willingly and deliberately wants to forget all about it and dismiss anything that could question the 'official story'. It's much easier and more tolerable that way isn't it, Nightguard and Marko?

It's much easier and more tolerable that way isn't it, Nightguard and Marko? After having watched countless pro and anti conspiracy videos, it's my belief it wasn't an inside job. If you'd care to take look a back at the Bin Laden thread that digressed to 9/11 conspiracies, I offered numerous videos and expert opinions that unequivocally dismissed conspiracy theories. The reason I posted this sweeping statement, as you call it, is because I can't be bothered to post exactly the same answers and videos to be met with the same dismissive responses. Is that ok? Edit: missing word
marko Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 So what do you make of WTC 7? Suffered extensive structural damage from falling debris off WTC's, coupled with fire damage that lead to it's natural collapse.
