Painful memories of jumping up in the pub and cracking my head open on a beam. Stayed until the end of the game though with a bar towel wrapped around my head with blood all over me. :D

Normal night out for you isn't it Babs? ;)

Was... now a normal night is me doing the mountain of washing up, watching 5 minutes of tv and going bed. ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!

Great memories and great day out. Highlight was arriving at the stadium to find postcards on every seat addressed to Mark McGee at Wolves. Early flight in the morning and then flight back after the match. The Spanish police were a bit harsh a few times but worth every penny when Marshall banged in his goal.

Add a carling branded bar towel to it and that's not far off to be honest. Bit more blood in the eyes though.

As pulling techniques go I recommend it, had more women come up to me that night than the decade or so after it.

36hr coach journey there,..3hrs at the stadium then back on the coach for a 30hr journey home, but worth every minute on the sodding coach to see Marshall put us 1 up and to sample the amazing feeling of watching your team abroad!

Yeah I did that coach trip too. Was knackered as hell when I eventually got back to Leicester, and was immediately waylaid by the Mercury as soon as I got off the coach! lol

Also saw Ian Marshall last season at the League Cup tie at Leeds. Still a top bloke.. :worship: :worship: :worship:

By the way, if you think the ref at Atletico had a shocker, you should have seen the one at Filbo.:o

Was on the coach too. Absolutely ****ing dreadful journey, kept in a compound on the outskirts of Madrid manned by gun weilding policeman for over an hour, shipped straight into and out of the ground from/to the coaches. BUT when Ian Marshall scored in the Vincente Caulderon it was worth every penny.

Also do you rember the stop off in France at the services on the way back? The only time except for the ferry that we could get a bevvy. The look of trepidation on the sales assistants face as I bought 24 bottles of heineken for 4 of us was a picture. lol

Just watched both legs highlights.

Leicester City, robbed by refs in the past, present and future, in-fact I bet there's a ref at the KP robbing some replicas from the club shop now.

Why would you even dare start a scrap with Walsh, Elliot and Heskey in a the side? Quality memories could be round the corner again lads! Win a cup and get promoted! Easy :)

I remember some people off the coaches washing and cleaning there teeth in a small fountain at a service station at night as the que to use the washroom was ridiculous,...awful conditions to suffer at times but some real stories and funny memories

What an absolute waste of semen and ovary space the referee was here.

We always get shit refs, it's like the law or something.
