I'd probably say Fulham solely because they're the only team I know of who sell "neutral tickets" for fans who don't support either side but want to watch football.

But really, how did you come up with your shortlist? Like davieG said, pretty much every team in Britain is probably considered the "most boring" by at least one person...

They were the first teams mentioned in this very thread.

No I meant how did you decide which teams to put in the poll? Granted you put an "Other" option, but you must have had a reason to choose the ones you put on the poll?

You should be shot for adding Morecambe.

Stoke for me to, a perfect advert of how to play boring, crap football.,as shown last night in their 0 0 bore deaw with spurs.

Again, first teams people suggested in this thread.

Its hard to not be bias in a response to this and not just start adding teams you dislike out of bitterness for me in which case would be Fulham and QPR. In terms of a club i find boring I'd go for Ipswich, last seasons extortionate ticket prices didn't help their cause for me either).

Not saying I don't like Wigan as a fotballing side, it's just with a city dominated by a love of rugby league (hence the embarressingly low crowds)it makes me wonder how they even cease to exist as a PL side

Huh? They do exist as a PL side.

I'd have to agree with Bilo. 40 years of pretty much nothing to note at Cov. Obviously, no highs to speak of, and only one relegation in all that time, so very nearly no notable lows, either. Nothing to cheer about, nothing to be upset about, just an endless stream of bland, beige, average mediocrity. It might actually do them some good to get relegated. I actually feel sorry for the poor sods at the other end of the M69.

Stoke are worth a mention. I think hoofball is necessary every now and again, but for 90 minutes every. single. bloody. match? FFS.

Fulham. I think it just annoys me that a club with no fans has spent so long in the PL at the expense of proper clubs that people actually care about. I suppose Wigan are in a similar position, but they don't get on my nerves nearly as much as Fulham.

Sorry I worded it wrong lol I meant that as in, how have they managed so long as a PL side

Are these teams generally seen as boring, or are they what you think? Just a question.

Like I said, I think its Stoke. But Hull are probably close.

I don't like Burnley as a place or football club, I wish Howe didn't join them because I liked him. Although I like Bolton now, they have been boring before under big Sam. Teams like Bolton and Blackburn are not very well supported though, is it because they have to compete with Manchester United & City, Liverpool and Everton?

Yes, I think so. The North West is quite an unusual area because there's so many towns and cities all right next to each other. I think glory-grabbing, and the unfair distribution of money in football, are probably the main reasons why a lot of the smaller clubs in the area struggle to fill their stadiums. Idiots who support big clubs for no good reason are ruining the game - they essentially each steal a fan from their local club, but hopefully one day, they'll be a thing of the past.

Leicester are pretty boring.

Just in the last few seasons,

From Rob Kelly to Sven.

from Mark de Vries to Yakubu.

from relegation to League one to a chipped penalty crushing our Premier League dreams 2 years later.

I respectfully disagree. :P
