Jace Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 how dare these people from Thailand buy our football club and give us millions of pounds to buy decent players and revamp our Stadium hoping to turn us into a decent club again and not give us their bank account statements?

I think it should be a requirement to when you take over companies in the public eye, whats wrong with that? The stuff you are advocating is how the country ended up getting into such a mess with the banks being able to do what they want and no one being able to see it. Don't you think when English football is 3billion in debt we actually might have to start thinking soon about ways to resolve the problem?
wellyfox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Am sure some on here must stop in bed all week get up go footy then back to bed. As there is so much that can go wrong in life they can do fvck all about

You are quite right Matt by law all companies in the public eye have to make their accounts public its called a PLC, unfortunately last time Leicester City was a PLC they crashed and burned badly...

Also the fair play rules will help out. Other than that they are a private company not listed have no public share holders. So as it is a private business and run as such it has fvck all to do with anyone else they bought the club and own it end off. Now can we go back to worrying what the tree's n sheep think about us

Yes and a lot of us saw it coming with the ridiculous contracts we were shelling out that far exceeded our budgets. We were told to shut up and "enjoy the ride" though.

Private business that has fcuk all to do with anyone else?? That's how you view your football club?, shame on you.

We were told to shut up and "enjoy the ride" though. totally agree with you buddy thats why we are in a great position at the moment being privately owned by a family who's wealth far exceeds the debt of any football club the size of ours, PLCs are not a good idea in football not unless you have profit like Manchester United and look what happened to them, taken over on finance on the stock exchange which nobody had any control to stop
yorkie1999 Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Good job we're not 30 million in the black, or the taxman will be smiling.
jonthefox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Companies fund themselves with debt. so do i just lately.
21st Century Fox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 How is this thread still alive, wasn't it debunked within the first three posts. Our debt was there before the Thais took over, we have an ever increasing debt on our stadium and will continue to have until we're promoted. The money we're getting from King Power for the stadium naming rights is I assume paid in annual instalments rather than a lump sum and will eat most of the spend that the Thais have so far laid down.

Private business that has fcuk all to do with anyone else?? That's how you view your football club?, shame on you. You buy a ticket you watch the game you don't own the club. Good or crap your tiket is to watch any given match. The rest is private whatever you think wages the lot and not our business. you would be no different if you owned it. (don't give the shite you would tell everyone) You have had two recent chances to buy it matt but you missed the boat. Oh well save ya pennies till the owners fvck up and you can then run the club your own way :crylaugh:
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 The Club's finances are none of our business. We are only spectators.

Jace Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I would be more worried about Svens company account card being maxed out down Spearmint Rhino than the Raksriaksorns balance sheets right now
wellyfox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 The Club's finances are none of our business. We are only spectators. As i said earlier. My glass is half full.

Oh well save ya pennies till the owners fvck up and you can then run the club your own way :crylaugh: Take on this debt? I wouldn't take on someone's else's debt if I was a billionaire. I couldn't buy the club at the time, I couldn't make the meeting in Singapore. I'll have to make do with sitting in one of the 8,000 empty seats for the time being. One thing is for sure, I was here before top found us in his birthday card and I'll be here after he has long gone as well.
Bayfox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 As fans we may have an expectation to know what is going on, however we have no right to, unless you can buy into the club. I don't have to show any of you my company accounts why should LCFC, however I think that the current owners, whatever their inital motives, you have to look at where they have spent money, everyone looking from the outside see's the transfer fees and wages, but why spend money on the training ground, relaying the pitch and the club shop etc, they are hardly 3rd world to start with, they are giving us the best chance to join the top table we may ever get and if they sell up and take the money when we get there then why care, we will be in the top flight again, if they run up massive debts and leave us in L1 again, then very little will have changed from the last owner and being a PLC didn't do us many favours either.

But unlike you he's putting real money where his mouth is unlike you. And come the end of the seasons if we get up no one will be singing your name. They are the owners and will disclose what they want to the rest as i said is private. Enjoy the ride and be happy we have them or would you rather Mandi and Pierpoint be incharge  FFS everyone moans we never buy class and when we do they are still wrong :frusty:

Your so right no fans no club. That still does not give people the right to know the in's and out's about the business side. Everyone knowing the in's and out's would only harm the business plan and the future. Transfer fee's would be inflated (like we was told happened in the summer) and wage demands higher. Just so someone that sits in a seat on match days is happy with knowing how much money we do or don't have.
