Phil Gee's Mullet Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Just heard about a company that has just agreed to start supplying City even though when they did a credit check on them they came out as 30 odd million in the red, not surprised given the amount we spent in the summer. Is it just me or is that a little bit scary?
Christoph Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 No because we'll get the money back when we get promoted
Lakestar Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Its a rumour credit checks do not show you the financial balances
Mack Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I've said it before. We dont know where all this money is coming from. It might all be borrowed against the club, it might be cash from the Thai's pockets. We all should know more that's for sure.
Phil Gee's Mullet Posted 13 October 2011 Author Posted 13 October 2011 Its a rumour credit checks do not show you the financial balances I'm sure your right, but I bet they wouldn't supply me with anything if I was that much in the red!
Ozwin Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 It's the elephant in the room or however the saying goes. We've got all these new players, a top manager, a newly decorated stadium and we're excited about our future but really we don't know where it's all being funded from.
Jace Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 doesn’t surprise me Milan made a 14 million loss the season we were in league 1
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I just told Experian that I was Leicester City Football Club and they rated me average to good.
Ric Flair Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 We owe about £30 million on our stadium and have done since we were relegated from PL
Corky Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I just told Experian that I was Leicester City Football Club and they rated me average to good. How do the women rate you?
Babylon Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 We owe about £30 million on our stadium and have done since we were relegated from PL Thought it was around the £12m -15m mark and growing whilst out of the premier. We had debts of around £25/£30m when MM was here so it's no great surprise.
m4DD0gg Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 How much would we get for promotion? Think the whole package is close to 90-100 million what with parachute payments taken into account. Could be wrong.
He's not bald Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 How much would we get for promotion? That's the most worrying word of the season!
wellyfox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I've said it before. We dont know where all this money is coming from. It might all be borrowed against the club, it might be cash from the Thai's pockets. We all should know more that's for sure. In n ideal world you are correct we should know. But would you tell everyone on here whats in your bank and what you owe. And from running the club if everyone knows it weakens your hand both buying and selling. Also players contracts you could be at the mercy of the agents. We have all gotta hold tight and trust the owners. They are business people and have amassed a small fortune not by luck.
Jace Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 It wouldnt make much sense for the owners to borrow against the club as their wealth supersedes what the club is worth unlike Manchester United and the Glaziers
Houdini Logic Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I think i'm the only person who is happy to live in ignorant bliss - while we're banging in 4 against the sheep I don't care if we're 10, 30 or 50 million in debt... How much would we get for promotion? The amount of wood I would get for promotion doesn't even bear thinking about.
blueredswed Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I've said it before. We dont know where all this money is coming from. Looking forward Birmingham match (gonna miss it, out for stampexhibition) But we win with 3-1. And don´t worry be happy we are Leices¨ter Blue :scarf:
Guest MattP Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Just wish we were more transparent. Absolutely anything could be going on.
Yojoe36 Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 At least we're spending money to try and push the club forward *cough*forest*cough* No pain no gain
ScouseFox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Worrying for the sake of worrying. There's is literally, and i mean literally, fuck all we, the fans, can do about what's spent and whether the people who own the club are fit to do their jobs and have the finances etc. All we can do is sit back and either enjoy the ride, or spend our nights lying awake wondering if we might go bust in 2018 when our owners/funds get bored/run out. I know which I'd rather do.
wellyfox Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Well my glass is half full and I am going to enjoy the ride :scarf:
blueredswed Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Well my glass is half full and I am going to enjoy the ride :scarf: Then we are two :scarf:
