Katy Posted 24 June 2005 Posted 24 June 2005 Was in Grantham today with my mother (paying a visit from the valleys) and whilst in JJB sports I spotted a crumby F****t away shirt and wait for it NO LEICESTER CITY ONES, absolute shite. Every other teams kit apart from the one they are sponsoring! Pffft!

If you don't live in Leicestershire then I'll tell you it's orange, bit like West Ham's last season and the same colour as the orange on the Alliance and Leicester motif.

I mean ok reveal pictures of the new kit in the magazine but surly on the OS they could put something saying "See the new kit in the Bluefox magazine" This is where the club is going wrong 2 good reasons for announceing it on the OS....1) Make relations with fans better, recently we have all been moaning(With due cause) about the clubs relations with US the fans....the second reason - If they try do this and if they try and "plug" the magazine abit it may boost sales and that means extra profit on the magazine... I ain't a businessman but surly it is basic stuff to advertise things and let your customers know things such as this, how thick are the people working and running at this club?

Didnt really expect them to stock them so far away, but they are our kit sponsors. Then went back down to portsmouth this weekend to see everyone and went into the jjb down their, no shirts on display. So went and asked the shop manager where they were, only to be told the shops policy is only to stock the popular shirts, obviously the top prem sides and spanish sides, you could even order an everton shirt as they had leaflets all round the shop saying so. I turned round and said jjb make, produce and sponsor leicester with their kit and training products so it should be stocked. Only to be told " do they????". How are we suppose to get the odd supporter living away from here to support us if the bloody shops aint got the gear in.

And i didnt ask because there wasnt anyone around to ask! Service is always crap in that store!
Sir Fynwy Posted 5 July 2005 Posted 5 July 2005 Just wait until the end of the season when JJB will have thousands of unsold city shirts left and the shirt deal with them is finished, you'll find city shirts turning up in JJB's everywhere.
