Can there be an age limit on friendship?

At that age, isn't it normal for friends to turn on each other with a little peer pressure? Educating Essex had a show just about this subject last week. I really wouldn't worry about it. I am sure they will be talking next week.

cheers, and i havent had any experience of people turning on friends because of peer pressure yet

Mate, they are kids and you're still a kid (no offense meant)... experience of having been that age means I know weird shit like this can happen. It's kids being kids and not knowing how to deal with things.

Just play it cool and go along with it. Say hello if you see them but don't go chasing after them wondering what's gone on. There are plenty more friends to make out there at that age if they don't grow up realise they are being idiots.

Having 2 kids with a girl who`s 13 and speaking from experience, you`ll be back to being friends within 24 hours....

Peado

They're girls thats all you need to know. This won't be the last time you'll be bemused by the incomprehensible way they act. You've just had your first taste of the inner workings of the female mind.

Kids fall out for the weirdest of reasons, Christ I remember taking the piss out of my classmates for being paedos for holding hands with someone in the year below.

I also see kids at the school at which I teach fall out, claim to hate each other and then walk home together on the same day. The parents could have something to do with it all but they'd be very overprotective if they wouldn't allow their 12 year old little cherub to be friends with a 14 year old, it's hardly as though you're a Sixth Former which might make them uncomfortable.

Either the parents are odd people or they're making excuses. Either way, you're better off without em.

A place in Lincolnshire.

Used to be rough as arseholes but has really turned its act around. Fall-outs happen but we have a genuine anti-bullying policy that has teeth, so fall-outs tend not to get out of hand.

That said, it's very much a kid trait. Fall out over sod all and be best friends within hours or days.

When I worked in a factory it was a bit like that. Don'twant to sound sexist but it seemed the women were worst for falling out then making up. What got me was a otwo or more would stop talking to each other for up to 3 months. Come xmas cards and presents were exchanged and they'd be down the pub getting sloshed together. But at times there mighjt be another falling out at the xmas door which would last another couple of months.

Cant remember it happening with the blokes as frequent or fallouts lasting as long.
