Maybe you are not specifying the criteria on which this stat is based, but didn't a certain Martin O'Neill come in half way through the season and get us promoted? Admittedly we were top when he came in and finished 6th, but he still came in halfway through the season and the got us promoted.
whitwickfox Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 i dont believe i am reading this shit. this was just like the response from newcastle fans when pardew was appointed last season, and just look where they are now.it really doesnt matter who we have, and it certainly isnt up to the fans.( remember warnock anyone) who ever comes, if we go up, they will be a legend...........if we dont, they will be sacked. one thing we do need is unity, not . sven is gone, and the next manager will be in by the weekend. whoever it is, we should all get behind him and the team, and move on

Blue through and through , through thick and thin I wouldn't boycott the club if he got appointed but I hate seeing this self righteous bullshit about loving the club no matter what. I will love this club til the day I die, through thick and thin just like you and many others on this board, but that doesn't mean that there's nothing which could stop me going. And that, in turn, does not make me a worse fan, like you and a few others have implied.

Whoever it is , we have to give them a chance , O'neill could have walked after the infamous Sheff Utd game and no one would have been bothered , You never know if it is Keane he could do well for us , so give the bloke a chance (and he is not my ideal choice )
