A bit of both I would say, the paypacket is fatter than it was under Mandaric no doubt but Pearson doesnt strike me as a "nearly" man, id imagine the play off defeat would still gnaw away at him and he's not done a bad job at Hull in trying to go one better. I am happy that it isnt a big name, its the big names and the big signings that rarely work out for us, and we should remember what Pearson did for us in just 2 years, I think some are expecting the ugly stuff again but I think he's learned a fair bit at Hull and I see no reason why he can't come back and get us up automatically given the riches at his disposal.
