Word inside Hull City camp is that Nigel Peason's move to Leicester City "unlikely" to be today. @looknorthBBC #hcafc

Not likely to be happening today

With what's been happening regarding City of late, with all the rumours the heartbreak on and off the pitch!! It's truly been a has he hasn't he who me with who when where it's him he's behind you !! And pantomime season came early to the Foxes !! Now let's teach these knobs who took the Pi55 out of our great club during this awful time, kick start our season from our next games and show the jokers by doing the talking on the pitch by winning games and climbing the table to promotion !!

They said on radio Leicester that he didn't turn up to Hull's training session today, and has cancelled a corporate event that he was meant to be attending tonight.

Hopefully there will be confirmation tomorrow :)

Leicester City hope to unveil Nigel Pearson as the successor to Sven-Goran Eriksson on Wednesday, with Hull City now resigned to losing their manager.

Leicester will pay Hull around £400,000 for the return of Pearson, who made the opposite move in June 2010 after a two-year spell in the Midlands. Leicester had earlier courted Lee Clark, although it has been stressed that the Huddersfield Town manager was never offered the position at the King Power Stadium.

Hull had initially rebuffed Leicester's approach for Pearson but, after talks on Monday and Tuesday, the move edged closer.

In his first spell at Leicester, Pearson guided the club to the League One title, with only a penalty shoot-out denying them a place in a Championship play-off final.

The manager's unhappy relationship with the then Leicester chief executive, Lee Hoos, was cited in his accepting a move to the KC Stadium in the summer of 2010. Hoos and Milan Mandaric, who owned Leicester, have since left the club.

Despite having one of the best squads in the Championship, and reportedly one of the largest budgets, Leicester currently lie in 12th position.

Hull, meanwhile, are likely to consider Clark as they look to maintain a strong start to their own campaign. Pearson will leave a team sitting ninth in the Championship, only a point adrift of the play-off places.

my brother just texted me with the following analogy to describe his thoughts about pearsons (probable) appointment...made me laugh; hope it does you to.

Pearson it is then. I'm satisfied but unexcited. I'd probably equate it to being told i could shag Eva Mendes, Kelly Brook or your mother in law and ending up with Kelly. Eva would have been awesome and I'm only 'satisfied' with kelly because i could have got Eva, but on the other hand the other scenario doesnt bear thinking about

Made perfect sense to me!

:crylaugh:
