Real Madrid havent won or been in the final of the CL in the last 9 seasons so I wouldnt exactly use them as a comparison Only Barca have been the real threat and are the best team in the world right now. look at the facts on page 2 regarding English and Spanish teams or any other countrys in the CL. If thats what you are using then the German and French are the "best leagues in the world" the facts regarding english CL finalists and later stages compared to spanish. and you will find that the point difference I was on about is correct and adds to my point that the Prem is a better league than the La Liga. even the championship is more exciting than LA Liga.

Man u, Mac City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liveroool all these will be there abouts near the end of the season Man city looking like running away with it though but the rest their wont be much in it. even tottenham have a good squad now with some top quality players in it. Obviously Messi is the best player in the wolrd and Ronaldo not far behind after that 5 Players that are on the same par as the other you mentioned. Silva, Van persie, Aguero, Rooney, Gerrard, plus plenty more world class players I could name. I agree but all players have a bad run of form now and again. Rooney can change games and is world class simple as that. Gerrards been out with injurys for the last season but before that he was and still is a world class player and will prove that once hes back to 100%. who the fvcks richard keyes ? and another thing Defences are much stronger and better players in England compared to Spain.

Look at the UEFA Cup then, Spain's mid table sides like Athletico Madrid stormed over Liverpool and Fulham on the way to the Europa league (and they did care about it) Teams like Celta de Vigo, Madrid and Betis have been relegated, do you really think they lose to teams like Blackburn and Wigan? Bolton and Everton have finished top 8 quite consistently here, they wouldnt make the top 12 in Spain.
