m00nie Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Pftt..it's all good saying "bollox" but without putting forward a reason it makes your comment about as valid as a warranty for a chocolate tea pot. how about the fact we have always had families at football.. if i take my kids they sing more than alot of the men... families in the kop are in the minority yet still hardly ever loud.. seating has a lot to do with things. footballs more comercialised now also..
davieG Posted 9 December 2011 Author Posted 9 December 2011 OS Further Additons To Winter Wonderland Further exciting additions have been made to Saturday's Winter Wonderland event, as Leicester prepares for what should be a memorable afternoon at King Power Stadium. Ahead of Leicester City's npower Championship clash with Peterborough United (kick-off 3pm), the Club will be hosting a range of festive family attractions around the stadium, bringing supporters of all ages together to celebrate 'the most wonderful time of the year'. Football League title sponsors npower are the latest to pledge their support to the event, which is free to enter for supporters with tickets for the game. Supporters will have the chance to take their picture with the npower Championship trophy and visit the npower 'No Power Hour' roadshow, which includes a children's skills area for young Foxes fans. K'eyush the npower polar bear will also be in attendance. The day's winter attractions have been strengthened with the addition of a 90-foot 'Ice Blast' toboggan ride (pictured), with a kids' sleigh ride, giant snow globe with photos and Father Christmas with live reindeer already confirmed for the event. Saturday will be a memorable event for all the family. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the previously-advertised artificial ice skating rink will not be available. Pre-match entertainment, all of which is free to those attending the game, will run from midday until 2.45pm, giving supporters the chance to take their seats in plenty of time for kick-off at 3.00pm.
