SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 Indeed - although it's just Dodgems, no car in the name
The Doctor Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 No, you backward dingo torturer. They are dodgems, that car in the name needs to go, now.
flowwolf Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 Dare I say it but at long, long last, the club seems to be buzzing both on and off the pitch. As do the fly's in the toilets , it's about time they spent some money on cleaning the filthy troughs in the bogs bugger the winter wonderland. :dunno: :dunno:
Oh tommy wright Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 Disgusted, what a waste of time. This is not football. It will bring more women and soft kids to the games. Free beer, thats what they could do. Might give us a bit of an atmosphere.
Guest MattP Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 This?? Awsome. Cant wait! Funhouse? If they get Pat Sharpe and those two blonde tarts down I'm there. Apart from that it sounds a bit daft, the kids might like it though. Its not getting me out the pub though.

Might give us a bit of an atmosphere. No, it isn't. Which is why it's taking place outside the stadium before the match.

Gesture from the owners. What planet are you on? And if the next generation of supporters need an ice rink for them to come to the footy then I give up.
Guest MattP Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 Get the feeling Top could take a shit on the pitch and some would pass it off as a "great gesture from the owners"
m00nie Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 Gesture from the owners. What planet are you on? And if the next generation of supporters need an ice rink for them to come to the footy then I give up. what is it then ?? cheap tickets.. You are 100% spot on there. There's no pleasing some people. But the fact is, the owners are business people that know how to operate a successful business & I say good of them to do this. As has been stated earlier, the kids & youngsters are the future of the football club, so if this will encourage them to attend a City game, it has to be a sound & sensible thing to do. Also, remember that the owners are from Thailand & are most likely followers of Buddhism. They do not celebrate Christmas which is a Christian tradition, so I say thank you to them for helping their supporters to enjoy the build-up to Christmas. And finally, to you moaners I say, Merry Christmas!!!

Houdini Logic Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 The people moaning clearly haven't seen the Thai chap who carves stuff out of melons. I hope he's there in some sort of festive guise
davieG Posted 2 December 2011 Author Posted 2 December 2011 They should invite the Chelsea Headhunters to meet up with the Baby Squad before the game for a set to in the car park now that's what real football is all about. Oh how I miss those days.
flowwolf Posted 2 December 2011 Posted 2 December 2011 It's a wonder they haven't re named it " Winter wonder Thailand " with Buddha dressed up as Santa and Buddhist monks dressed as elves sitting in a tinsel bedecked Pagoda. Now that I would pay to see.

sphericalfox Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 I thought Ipswich and Sky's efforts were much better last year. Surely they'll get the snow machine's out?
Bilbo Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 It's all about balance. I don't want the "good old days" of the 70's back but I sure as hell don't want the stadium turned into Disneyland. The owners are clearly targeting families as their target market and it's safe to say that this is the reason that the ground turns into a library on match day.

Bilbo Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 is it bollox.. Pftt..it's all good saying "bollox" but without putting forward a reason it makes your comment about as valid as a warranty for a chocolate tea pot.
