The Doctor Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I wasn't aware of this *awaits some-one blaming that on Wellens*
Tommeh Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I'm pretty confident there will be a football special put on after. We usually get them when venturing a few cities North, Barnsley earlier in the season from sheffield was the most recent. It's a shame but still think we'll take double the joke number they brought to us.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I never knew about the 24 hour bus service, I'll grab that then! Hopefully theres a train special though.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Too all you complaing you can suck me off! Cos i get to see another game now

Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I see the +1 for metioning Richie wellens is continuing. Poor bloke! It's all part of his diabolical plan.
Soar Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I thought there was a planned protest against sky with wolves and another team. They were going to be silent for about 15 minutes when the kick off whistle goes did i miss it? or didn't it happen? I think it was supposed to be for the Wolves V Sunderland game. I don't know if it went ahead though.
Simi Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 THURSDAY NIGHT, **** SKY SPORTS THURSDAY NIGHT, **** SKY SPORTS
jonlcfc1990 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I think it was supposed to be for the Wolves V Sunderland game. I don't know if it went ahead though. hmmm would of been pretty effective and a very strong show against what sky are doing to the game. Listen i'm not being funny i know it's a good thing for some people that it's on sky i have relatives in Scotland who are die hard LCFC fans we've met up for away games like Blackpool Carlisle and Preston etc and they will be happy that the game is on sky so they can see a game. The thing i have issue is the fact that they've moved the game from a saturday that was already planned. If it was announced from the season start you'd know and can plan for it but to just change it a few weeks before is i think wrong. I'll still be able to go i hope but my usual friends won't be able to make it so again thats a big shame because DCFC CCFC and NFFC are the games we all pick out at the start of a season and you hope they will all be memorable.
Dan Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I've just got back from holiday, and made sure that the first thread I've got on was this. What the utter fvck is this shit? THURSDAY?! They're not even funny anymore, I honestly believe they do it to fvck fans off, something very shady going on. They'll end up putting them at like 8am for fvcking Asian TV at this rate (and before one of you corrects me I couldn't be arsed checking the time zone, but I am aware it would be a stupid time). But on the whole, another day spoilt and quite frankly the most bizarre kick off time ever. Need some banners for this.
Dan Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I must say there is a lot of me, me, me on this forum. Doesnt matter that it being on sky will allow thousands of other fans to watch it that otherwise wouldnt have been able to. Im chuffed its on sky. And dont even think about saying im a plastic fan for not going. Call me biased/ignorant but I personally believe those who do attend the games should be given priority, whilst that's not me saying they're bigger fans or anything, then if you're one of them in America for example then sadly that's the way it is. I've just looked at the fixtures, every other game is Saturday 3pm, why the fvck have they done this? I'm not even trying to be funny I genuinely wonder if they deliberately like to piss the fans off. Like, someone who works there could be reading this and pissing themselves at every post. You know, what other fvcking reasons are there? A Thursday night, just wow. As stated, I can see AM kick-offs on the way, "breakfast" fixtures.

If sky wants, sky gets.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Sky have us all in their pocket they brought football out of the dark ages and put it in the spotlight and have made clubs billion dollar businesses but the traditional fan has been left in their wake of destruction. I just hope one day the fans can put aside our rivalries and differences and rise against the real trouble makers and fixture changers in this sport the TV companies are ruining it for fans. inflatated ticket prices empty grounds it's going to get to the point where breakfast games would be possible and god knows what else. This Christmas we saw teams playing within 48 hours of games not to mention 1 game on sky every day of one week! Football fans have to make a stand

The date is purely to reduce the potential audience for Europa League matches being shown on other channels that night. Derby must need the cash off the Murdochs a lot more than we do.
