Larry_LCFC Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Just a question to all of you who seem to hate thurdsay night. Why is Thursday night any different to playing on a Tuesday night? Tuesdays are still relatively popular so why wouldnt a thursday....

I have to rush home from work and you don't get as much time in the pub as you do on a Saturday. It doesn't stop me going to mid-week games though.

Tuesdays are still relatively popular so why wouldnt a thursday.... obviously from the saturday to the saturday to the thursday is a difference. all day drinking, no work next day, day time kick off etc tues is as it is as there is no choice, people wont like it but will still deal with it. and the same would be for a thurdsay, but we will moan about it to start with as its an unexpected change. it interrupts our usual routine etc

oadby_fox723 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Was hoping to go to this game, and see a few uni mates hopefully making a weekend out of it. Don't know yet if I'll be able to make the Thursday night
AjcW Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 **** you skyyyyyyy now we can afford more players... noooooooooooooooo............ ......................
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I've got twilights on Thursdays so I'm just going to tell my teacher (who is a Leicester fan) 'sorry mate I'm not missing it'
HEGGSY Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I'll still go but FFS a Thursday night, jesus wept.
AjcW Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I've got twilights on Thursdays so I'm just going to tell my teacher (who is a Leicester fan) 'sorry mate I'm not missing it' The **** is that... shitty vampire training????
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 The **** is that... shitty vampire training???? Ahaha nah lessons after normal school time has finished.
The Doctor Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Absolute ****ing joke. I love me a trip to Dierby, not the greatest ground I've been to but a decent enough away day. Finishing at 5 on a Thursday though makes this near impossible for me to get to without skipping lectures, as well as getting back in time for the following day. Just leave the bloody sport alone SKY you utter wankstains.
Walkers Wench Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Don't think we'll be going now,,,i wouldn't get much change out of 100 quid for me and my two lads so i may as well save my money, watch it at home and let them choose another away game to go to,,,,,,very disappointed
Leicesterpool Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 This is no way going to be a sell out now, I don't think we'll even take a thousand. I'm doubtful don't finish College until 5pm and in College the next morning. Why not Friday?
ScouseFox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 All I can say is for all those who gloated and scoffed at Derby's pretty poor show at our place, for your sakes I hope we take more than they brought. That'd be shit if we didn't.

That'd be shit if we didn't. That was at 5.20pm on a Saturday evening, hardly any less cushy than the traditional 3pm kick-off. Thursday night is a different scenario altogether. For a start it becomes impossible for anyone who wanted to use public transport to get to it, which means me and I assume quite a few others...
