jonlcfc1990 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 AGAIN! Thats 3 games against Derby in a row on sky although forest fans should take note looks like sky is slowly fazing out the nobody club in the midlands. Derby and Leicester are the only clubs to watch around our parts and we are the better of the two
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 OS: City's npower Championship trip to local rivals Derby County next month has been subject to a scheduling change, after being selected for live television coverage. The game at Pride Park will now take place on Thursday 23 February (kick-off 7.45pm), two days earlier than previously scheduled, and will be shown live on Sky Sports. It will be the third consecutive meeting between the two East Midlands rivals that has been selected for live broadcast - City winning the last two, including an emphatic 4-0 triumph at King Power Stadium back in October. Information on away tickets for the game will be released in the coming weeks on lcfc.com.
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Im happy with it because now it means I can watch it on tv. For the fans that were actually going to the game, a thursday night is a load of bollocks.
Christoph Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 It's pretty stupid but the close proximity of Derby to Leicester doesn't make it as catastrophic as if it were in Southampton for example.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 First Southampton away and now this! Still going but would of been alot better on a saturday!
Simo86 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 That's rubbish! Since when do Sky show games on a Thursday!? Looks like I'll be missing football training that night now
jonlcfc1990 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 THURSDAY NIGHT?!!!!!!!!!!! exactly they would only do this because they know we travel well and derbys attendances have been pretty high average this season joke
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Maybe its a monthly thing now Southampton - 23rd Jan, Derby 23rd Feb. Wonder what it will be on March 23rd... Hull at home?
Simi Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 It's pretty stupid but the close proximity of Derby to Leicester doesn't make it as catastrophic as if it were in Southampton for example. I'm more worried about the beer time I'm going to miss out on, the game is just an afterthought.
Yojoe36 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Fvck you Sky. Who the hell will turn up to a game on Thursday night?? What waste of a good away game
LCFC BEAST Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Thursday nights are purely Europa League bollocks.
Happy Fox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Tickets are going to be bomb if they were cheap i.e £10-15 for everyone then the punters will go, just seems very odd that this has been moved, their is nothing happening in Dierby on a Saturday is their.
Fox92 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Another game, especially a good away game, ruined by Sky. I hate them. Can't all football fans start something against them!
Marmite Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 F**KS SAKE, thats a bloody good away day just ruined. That means the ground will be empty with no atmosphere being played on a Thursday night with everyone opting to stay at home
ousefox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Thank god i didn't book my train tickets! Still haven't managed to get to Derby away yet which is annoying though!
