singinpete Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 “@Scout_ITK: Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday linked with loan move for Lloyd Dyer with a view to permanent 300K #LCFCRT I'll drive:)
MikeyT Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Has to be someone lined up surely, what with Dyer being our only winger.
wellyfox Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Liam said this 10 days ago Dyer to the owls Same day as percy said big news at lcfc and swfc Then said not connected. Not really big news though. We gotta get rid of some to lessen the wage bill if we are looking at two first choice wingers.
Thracian Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Can't see any sense in loaning Dyer until we have at least two other wingers as options, especially with Vassell and Schlupp likely to be out for the rest of the season, or at least the most part. Dyer is an excellent player to have around if only on the bench.

Adster Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 The same 'agent' that's said this: Scout_ITK Graeme + Stuart #lcfc have agreed contract terms with billy sharp, medical scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, could be confirmed tomorrow, Wednesday latest. Hmm.....
Thracian Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Schlupp out for 8 weeks Eight weeks plus getting himself into consideration again and regaining match fitness. Assuming everything goes well. They laughed when I said Tunchev would be out for so long but that's the way it worked out. It's not just recovery with knees .. it's regaining confidence in the joint in tough, competitive situations... and I'd doubt we'd want to rush him back at this stage of his career.
SMX11 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 At the end of the day he just isn't good enough. Good professional but he isn't going to be good enough for the prem and he isn't good enough for us now imo.
Callabinho Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 can't cross, and for a winger that's a must. I like his direct style of play, but at this level more times than not he gets sussed out. His decision making is not always good either, For example when he worked his way into the area on Saturday, he had Beckford free in the area, and had a shot....
Jace Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I can just see it now after half a season of us only having Lloyd Dyer as a winger ending up with no wingers at all by the end of the season!
whoareyaaa Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 As much as I like the guy he cant cross a road so for that reason im going to have to say goodbye and farwell. Seriousssllyy though if we want to get to the prem this season then players such as Dyer and Gally have to be cleared out or be in the squad mearly as backup, although the guy is a great chap and does work his socks off so good luck if he goess!
AKCJ Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Probably got Marshall lined up to replace him. Marshall, Kebe, Sharp, Dorrans and a cover centre half and i'll be over the moon.
Fox92 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I admire Dyer for wanting to stay when Sven tried to sell him, but he isn't good enough. He has the pace but just lacks something in my opinion. We do need two new wingers though.
